DS No. 9: The Wedding Cake

The wedding cake has always been the centerpiece of a wedding reception. It symbolizes the abundance of blessings to come in a couple's marriage. The cutting of the cake symbolizes the sweetness of love and marriage, and is a time to share the love with friends and family.

Thanks to Emily Uy of Sugarbox for coming up with a wedding cake that is so "us". Simple yet unconventional.

DS No. 7: Mom's Day - for Mom-in-Law

This one is for my mom-in-law. I like the selection of pictures I collated as well as the kit used. To surprise Mommy, I included this in my friendster testimonial to her.

DS No. 3: Love..love..love

This is one of our engagement pics also known as "Pre-nups" taken by our wedding photographer, Kenneth Uy. We posed, flashed our smiles and exuded the camwhores that we are in Parks & Wildlife on one September '05 cloudy day. This was also the perfect time to have my trial make-up done by Loren (formerly of Clamar).

DS No. 2: Sisters: "The Tres Marias"

This shot was taken on my wedding day - Dec. 17 '05...few hours after I got hitched. Among those that were most emotional that day were my sisters. All my life, it's them whom I lived with, looked up to, guided and molded me the way I am. Yeah, living in a broken family has been sad but we learned to make perfect moments with each other's love and utmost care. Now that I'm living in another world and with the distance keeping us apart (eldest is in Qatar, the other is in Pasig), I just miss my sisters so much.

DS No. 1: Cute As A Bug

My first ever attempt....

cute as a bug copy stacy carlson

and not bad for a starter, huh? Thanks to a DSP's Plopper (as defined by DSP: It is a pre-made page for you to “plop” your photos onto. Usually in jpg format that you would place your photos on top of, however some are PNG with holes for your photos so you can place them underneath)

This picture was taken at Burnham Park in Baguio last December 2005.

Digiscrap..trapped!

As posted on my personal blog www.maipaul.blogspot.com on May 25, 2006:

Inspired by my fellow mrs. w@wies .. I find myself glued on PC more (as in extra more) these days because of Digital Scrapping or Digiscrapping.

Thanks Mec for letting me know of Genetic Computer's Free Photoshop Training I attended last April. I had a crash course on PS basics..hmm..and I thought PS was difficult to trickle with? Well, maybe most of the functions yeah, but armed with the basics, it's fun exploring your artistic side.
