Weekend.

Thank God it’s weekend already.

I’m a bit excited over this coming brief-work-break as I already have the things to be done lined up. I’ll be having my second prenatal check-up tomorrow then after which, hubby and I we’ll be heading to the department store to buy some stuffs. I badly need a moisturizer for my overly drying skin. Paul will also buy an extra SD card for his point and shoot Olympus camera, pay some bills and perhaps, shop our weekly grocery. I need to open up my stashed digiscrapping kits for a birthday invite that I’ll be doing for a sister’s friend. On Sunday, we’ll be watching live the basketball match of the UST Tigers and DLSU Green Archers. Looks like I’ll be having a one-busy-weekend ahead.

Hello.

It’s been a while since I lasted posted an entry here. Pardon for the unannounced hiatus…well, blame it on these surging pregnancy hormones that’s keeping me down and lazy aside of course, from some hectic schedule that I got last week with work.

Right now, I’m resting as I just got home from attending and coordinating a colleague’s wedding. Hmm, pretty tiring but nevertheless, fulfilling. We’re thinking of getting serious and pursuing this sideline following the positive feedbacks and praises that we got today. Our group actually enjoyed and didn’t have a hard time at all coordinating since the couple is organized and there were hardly any difficulties in implementing the details. The guests were all cooperative as well and everybody enjoyed this event, especially the wonderful couple.

So that’s it for the mean time, I’ll try to update my main blog later with the recent developments on my pregnancy, that’s if, I’ll be re-energized later. Or probably, I’ll do the updating tomorrow after going to a neighbor’s garage sale nearby. I heard they’re selling some stuffs. They’re doing some disposal as they’re planning to buy new Bush furniture online.

Truck Makeover?

My brother-in-law would like to do some body restyling on their ever-reliable pick-up truck. I think they’ve already done some canvassing for hoods, grille guards and fender flares this morning in Banawe. I heard they are off to buy these truck accessories tomorrow. Now I’m excited and can’t wait to see their truck’s new look.

Hot Tub Covers.

In a tropical country such as ours, the use of hot tub is barely popular. We only see it mostly in spa centers wherein one soaks in heated water for massage or hydrotherapy. In much colder and freezing countries, hot tubs are usually located outdoors, thus, they are often covered for protection from elements brought about by harsh climate (hail, wild winds, etc).

If you are in search of the best and most reliable Hot Tub Covers, check out those offered by The Cover Guy. They take pride in the quality of the covers that they offer and as they say..theirs last longer and perform better than any other covers available. Hop on over their site and see for yourself their irresistible offers for the month.

New Addicting Game.

It’s just recently that my dear hubby learned about the game Granado Espada. It is a fantasy MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game ) distributed by IAHGames, set during the Age of Exploration time period which focuses around the newfound continent of Granado Espada. Upon obtaining a copy of the installer, he immediately tried it in his computer rental shop. He loves the new features, cool graphics, great characters and he is certain that the regular customers (who are mostly kids) would definitely enjoy and get addicted to this game. Considering the high system requirements though, hubby has to purchase additional Dell Memory units to upgrade some of the PCs since mostly are already loaded with lots of other MMORPG games.

Read the full details here.

Journalling:
July 6, 2007
9: 57 PM
Thank you Lord, for this early sign of life..for entrusting to us this precious gift. Fourteen hours later since I first witnessed how the second pink line appeared, here I am still dumbfounded…astonished. Can’t find the right words to explain my thoughts and the extreme delight I’m feeling right now. After 18 months of trying, finally the perfect time has come. Paul and I are so elated that we’re finally blessed..that we’re finally realizing our long time dream of parenthood. Thank you, Lord for this wonderful gift.

Blinds.

Just as Mom-in-law is thinking of redesigning the living room, hubby and I are also thinking of redesigning our bedroom especially that in 9 months time, we need to allot space for the arrival of our precious. We would need ample space for the crib and a space for the baby’s things. Also, we’ll be buying blinds for the windows to create a softer look and better insulation for the room.

Undecided.

Mom in law hasn’t proceeded yet with her plans of redesigning the living room. She can’t decide yet which home furniture to retain and which to stock in the storage room. Most of this furniture are antiques and were handed down from her great grandparents. They sure have a sentimental value that’s why mom-in-law was having a hard time which to choose.

Orlando.

One of my must-see destinations if I get the chance to travel in the US is Orlando. Why? Because I’d simply love to experience the Family Entertainment Capital of the World. There’s Walt Disney World Resort, the Universal Studios, the Kennedy Space Center, the Cypress Gardens, and a lot more. Since I’d like to maximize my travel budget on these experiences, I’d surely get an Orlando vacation home rental to save me from the steep hotel rates. Any other suggestions what to see and experience in Orlando?

Century Furniture.

A friend of mine recently called and asked for help where she could scout nice Century furniture. Her grandma will be celebrating her birthday soon and since she’s fond of such elegant room décor, my friend is thinking of buying her one. She’s in need of a site that offers wide array of high quality furniture selection at reasonable prices. She’s a bit worried that it might go over her budget since such furniture are known to be pricey. I helped her scoured the web and luckily, we stumbled upon Lenoir Empire Furniture. She browsed their gallery and found this set. She says this will look good in her grandma’s veranda. I am sure her grandma will love this. My friend was even more delighted when she found out the irresistible price. It was a good deal indeed.

Disposable Undies.

Who says disposable underwears are only for the elderly who can’t restrain their discharges? While it’s true that the market of such incontinence products is mostly the old aged, I know of friends who have them for several reasons. For the travelers, they’d prefer to pack some disposable underwear to lighten up their travel luggage. Others find them handy and their savior in times of emergencies like they suddenly had their periods and need to change their undies. While for some especially who are prone to having UTI, they do use these disposable panties to avoid being infected since pantyliners are not also recommended. It’s a good thing that these are available in several convenience stores nowadays. But for those of you who’d like to get the best quality, check out DisposableMedicalExpress.com.

Plasma Cutter.

What tools do you usually use in your households if there are occasional repairs and maintenance work to be done? Probably you still have those conventional mechanical saws that you use for cutting purposes. Do you know that there’s already a so-called plasma cutter that can do all your metal cutting needs with ease of use, higher quality of cuts and faster travel speeds? To know more about this technology, check out kaliburn.net.

Parking Space Dilemma.

Again, some neighbors caused a commotion outside this morning. The neverending problem of parking spaces on the road was the cause of their argument. A neighbor was agitated when another parked his car in front of his yard without permission. And now that his car arrived, no space was left for him to park. It’s a good thing that the village security promptly arrived and the flurry was stopped. I heard that the Village Association Officers are already talking this over to avoid the same incidents from happening again. One of their proposals I think is to put yard markers of No Parking and Don’t Block the Driveway signs. I just hope this resolves the parking space problem in the village once and for all.

MBL.

For those baseball fans out there, I’m sure you’re all be glued tonight on TBS as they air the 2007 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Selection Show. This will be presented by Chevrolet. Fans have been voting online as well as voted through paper ballots as to who they want to see in the All-Star Games. I wonder who the top pick was this season. Don’t forget to get your world series tickets as early as now if you want to see the All-Star Game at AT&T Park in San Francisco on the 10th.

Outdoor Fireplace.

Are you fond of holding barbecue parties in your backyards on hot summer days? Drive away those conventional picnic grills and check out these stylish outdoor fireplaces from MantelsDirect.com. It has a modular design meaning you don’t need any mortar and you can easily assemble it. Other features include 7 color options or you can add your own brick or stone for a custom look, it has multiple door options, it has safe and fire-compliant design and an adjustable 3-position grill.

Put Some Greens.

Mom in law is thinking and planning of redesigning the living room. She would like to try out a new curtain and some matching throw pillows which she bought from Divisoria. She’s also thinking of rearranging some furniture, possibly some will retire and be stocked in the storage room. Lastly, she might also be placing some plants to add some greens in the room. But with the rainy days ahead which mean Dengue season is also approaching, I suggest to put up artificial silk trees instead to avoid Dengue-causing mosquitoes from hibernating in the room. It’s equally beautiful anyway.

Doin' Grocery.

Weekends mean a Grocery Day for us. So later this afternoon, I’ll be dragging my dearest hubby with me since there are several items that I’ll be stuffing our shopping cart with for a week’s consumption. That includes some meat and frozen products that hubby will be having for his packed lunch at work, some fruits and veggies, some snacks to stuff the fridge and some other staple household items and incontinence products. I wonder how much will we spend for our grocery this week.

Hot Fudge Sundae.

I got this from Shabem’s blog and here’s my take. Ohh…I’m drooling over a hot fudge sundae now.

You Are a Hot Fudge Sundae

Classic, simple, and divine.
Why mess with perfection?

Faithful Thinker.

I just took an online personality test from persornaldna.com and I got an extensive true and accurate description of myself. It is called the PersonalDNA Test: Your true self revealed.

It is called such because a DNA or Deoxyribonucleic acid (which, as wikipedia defines, is a molecule that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms) is responsible in dictating and influencing a person’s behavior.

Results say that I am a Faithful Thinker…”Your trust in others, respect for tradition and caring nature make you FAITHFUL. Your cautiousness, appreciation of functionality, and imagination combine to make you a THINKER. ”
