Online Casinos.

If you are like me who hardly know any online casino games, check out Gamblux.com. All you need to know about money-spinning games like poker, blackjack, roulette, etc. are all here. The site has a comprehensive guide for the essential rules and strategies of each game. For the more experienced ones, this is a useful reference to compare all the top online casinos as they are ranked according to ratings, reviews, payouts, bonuses offered and a lot more. They also provide alerts from various casinos regarding biggest jackpots offered as well as online tournaments. Overall, the useful and reliable contents justify the “a bit cluttered” look of the site. You can easily navigate anyway each item or topic as they are classified accordingly.

Bored.

I can’t think of a decent post right now. Arggh! I’m just overly bored. I’m missing my work..I’d like to report back to the office already but I have to rest and am still confined at home for the rest of the week. I am planning to digiscrap this morning but I realized hubby brought with him our external hard disk where all my kits are stashed. I searched for paid blogging opps, but found none. Turned on the TV but didn’t find any interesting show to watch. Perhaps I’ll just stare at my puter for now until I find an interesting website to explore.

So Red Sox Fanatic.

I was updating my cousin about my pregnancy via chat this morning. He, on other hand, blabbed non-stop about the Boston Red Sox. I relayed to him our Christmas plans this year, he tattled about how the Red Sox toppled the Cleveland Indians in the recent finals. I talked about the typhoon about to hit the country, he chatted about his idol Manny Ramirez. When I asked what gift would he want for Christmas, he immediately butted in – Boston Red Sox Spring Training tickets! Whenever I brought up a new topic, we always ended up discussing about the Red Sox. I am not a big fan of baseball but who doesn’t know the Red Sox? Of course they’re the 2007 World Series Champions. That’s how addicted my cousin is to the Red Sox. Since I miss him so much (we haven’t seen each other for years since they migrated to Boston), I gave in. I’ll be gifting him with a Loge Box 122 tickets - Red Sox’s game against the LA Angels on April 22. Oh boy, he’s so excited. He can’t wait to be seated 17 rows above the Red Sox Deck Circle and watch his idols up close. Of course we ended up the chat with a topic on Red Sox, still. Now I need to get going and reserve those tickets before they’ll be gone. I heard they’re hot as pancakes!

Got a Free $25 Coupon Code!

I thought I have enough new digiscrapping goodies to boot over the past weekend. I was so lucky enough to snag a free $25 coupon code from Janel of PinkPoodleStudios.com. I stumbled upon a fellow Bebot post on the forum about this hot giveaway so I right away headed to DST to check out the thread. I am still getting through the issue though about a missing digiscrap designer that lead to this Janel’s random act of kindness. I was able to snag several adorable goodies – mostly are papers and elements. I’ll post them here later. Have to update my kaboodle list first.

Business Card Reader Solutions.

Don’t you find it hard and tedious manually encoding contact information in your contact list? In any given business, time is precious so it’s definitely just a waste of time fiddling through your business card case and manually typing the contact information in your system, email, or CRM database. Check out the latest business card scanning solution offered by Scanshell Store. At very fair-priced packages, they offer business card reader solutions and several scanning software that enables one to easily and accurately scan business cards directly to Microsoft Outlook contacts management, card scanning to a file, to a powerful database and even directly to CRM software such as Microsoft and SalesForce. With Scan2Contacts, which is a complete solution that includes both the scanner and software, the card reader scans the business card and automatically creates a new contact record in Microsoft Outlook. The bundled scanner for this is the Scanshell 800NR which is a color scanner by default and can also be configured to scan in black and white.

There are several scanning solutions offered by the Scanshell Store for your other scanning needs like ID cards, checks, passports, electronic signatures, medical cards and other documents. Check out their site for further information about their payment, shipping, warranty and return policies.

My Black Friday Purchases.

I guess my Black Friday mantra didn’t work. I wasn’t able to hold off myself with all the tempting sales of my fave digiscrapping shops. Now my paypal wallet is $10.72 poorer. Still am thankful though, at least, I got these items at discounted prices. By the way, these are the items that have been in my Kaboodle list for quite some time. Now I just need to drive back my mojos and start scrapping again to put all of these to use.

Rare Coins..a Good Investment?

My sister showed me recently her latest acquisition of certified coins to add to her collection. She has pulled together several unique and ancient coins either from trade or were just handed down to her. She’s really serious about this hobby deeming that it’ll make a good investment for her someday should she decide to trade them. I told her to subscribe to Monaco’s “The Rain Coin Insider” so she’ll get to know more about collecting and trading rare coins. Monaco Rare Coin is part of the Monex companies, the leader in the precious metal investment industry. They have experts who can help collectors and traders find the best, highest-quality rare coin investment there is. My sister is looking forward to check this out herself. She’s excited to experience the Full Service Coin Trading that Monaco provides.

Black Friday & Weekend Sales.

Several digiscrapping shops also had their own Black Friday Sales, some even extending it over the weekend. I thought I could control myself, but nah, the impulsive buyer in me kicked in again. I just couldn’t resist buying from these stores: SSD, The Lilypad & Weeds & Wildflower Designs. I am still fiddling my kaboodle list but I’ll definitely post here soon pics of the loots I bought.

What Part of Thanksgiving Are You?

It’s time once again for SSD Blog’s From Our Blog To Yours. Even though, I don’t get to participate in their challenges anymore for the Sweet Rewards Program and even if we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in my country, I thought of trying this quiz out. Well, at least I get to experience this holiday somehow. Lolz. Cool..I'm a mashed potato? That's one of my faves.

You Are Mashed Potatoes

Oridnary, comforting, and more than a little predictable
You're the glue that holds everyone together.

HDTV Search.

My San Francico-based cousin is eyeing for a brand new 26” Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Insignia HDTV. It’ll be a surprise early Christmas gift for his Mom who’s been wishing and wanting to replace their old TV they’re using for years. Since my cousin is so busy lately with work that he doesn’t have the luxury of time scouring for a fair-priced one across all appliance stores near them, he tried using Krillion.com and to his delight, he was overly satisfied. Krillion.com is an online catalog of appliances allowing the consumer to compare and evaluate comprehensively about a certain product’s specifications and pricing before he decides to purchase one. The best thing about Krillion is its localization engine which provides accurate local shopping search results including the nearest retailer shops where they can buy the item. With such, no need to do tiring canvassing from one shop to another.

Oscraps Black Friday Sale.

Okay here’s a sale enabler alert. Oscraps celebrates the Turkey Day with these big sales..up to 50% off! Time to start filling in your carts with Oscraps goodies! I just peeped in their site…there are new cool stuffs added lately. Uh-oh seems my paypal account is in danger again. Lolz.

Secure Your Network.

I heard that our server in the office went down again last night. Luckily, our network administrators were adept with such and fast in fixing connection problems so they were able to restore it back immediately. It also helped that our servers are confined in one floor of the building so they didn’t have problems automating it. I stumbled upon a website where it explains about Solaris Security. I’ll be forwarding this to our IT department as they might consider adapting this system. This management solution enables them to troubleshoot problems, monitor connectivity and automate maintenance tasks without having to transfer from one server to another. It’s indeed a one effective network security tool to consider.

Thanksgiving Freebie from Katie.

Snag it in the Freebies section of Designer Digitals. If you’re not yet a member, sign up first (it’s free and easy) before you can download this goodie.

Ultimate Boutique Shopping.

Are you in search of the latest clothing fashion and chic styles on the internet? Are you scouring for hip and trendy clothes for men and women at great bargain and irresistible deals? Are you simply up for an ultimate online shopping experience? I just stumbled upon Tobi.com and I find it worthwhile to share it with you. Browse all through their catalogues for endless options and choices. They have the widest range of brands, categories and styles available – accessories, beauty care products, denims, dresses, handbags, jackets, pants, shoes, shorts, sweaters, tees and tops.

I tried browsing the site myself since I am planning to buy my sister a pair of jeans as a gift this Christmas. I am torn between the seven for all mankind Vivian crop jeans (which is on sale) and a skinny denim from nudie jeans. Both will good look on my sister but probably I’d settle with nudie.

Anyway, back to Tobi’s, the functionality and features of the site are remarkable and it is so easy to navigate. Let’s say, you want to search by brand, you can easily hop over to the brands tab and all of the available products will be displayed. You can also do further by browsing per category and you may even use keywords for easy searching. New arrivals and items that are on sale can also be navigated effortlessly. Shopping process is as easy as 1-2-3. No complicated checkouts or whatsoever, you just have to create an account with them to speed up everything – checkout, view your order history, track orders and many more. They accept major credit card issuers for payment such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. They also offer gift wrapping services, perfect for this holiday season. They also have this sizing chart on their site for reference so you’d know which size would fit you. I suggest you should try this site also. As it says, it is the next generation online shopping boutique experience.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Although, we don’t celebrate here where I am from, I’d like to greet everyone a:

Thanksgiving is a national North American holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the US and on the second Monday of October in Canada. It is a traditional holiday to give thanks at the conclusion of the harvest season. In the US, this marks the beginning of a four-day long weekend. Both Thanksgiving and the day after, which is called the Black Friday are paid holidays for workers and no-school days for the students. Black Friday marks the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. This is the reason why many retailers open very early and offer low-priced or even free items to draw shoppers to their stores.

I am sure, digiscrapping stores are once again kicking with all their Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales. I’ll be back later with the sites having such sales.

My Online World.

I snagged this from a dear online friend, Litzie.

1. How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years now. You can check my original (and still my main) blog here.

2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
The W@W community. I had my blog for the purpose of having an online journal for my wedding preparations. Most of the W@wies then have a blog.

3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
At first, it was just for fun..as I’ve said, having it as an online diary for my wedding preps. But after a while, I’m earning some moolah through some blog entries. It’s actually easy money..just a sideline to augment my salary from my real job so I can have some bucks to splurge on my digiscrapping goodies and some fancies. And oops, of course I’m having fun while making money online through blogging!

4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE about being online.
- chatting with my friends and loved ones (my dad, stepmom and eldest sister are all in abroad)
- get to my new friends from around the world
- earning while blogging!

5. Tell me 3 things you STRUGGLE within the online world.
- spam mails
- virus and trojan attacks
- irritating and annoying pop-ups

Feel free to snag this.

I'm Back.

I’m just so glad that I’m finally back. You might have not noticed it but I was away for almost three days. I had a traumatic trip to the hospital’s E.R. that lead to confinement last Sunday due to pregnancy complications. I’m again put under house arrest for two weeks because of that. Well, I’m still composing myself and taking my actions one step at a time. I’ll relay the whole story on my main blog later. Meanwhile, I’m briskly checking my mails and beating some blogging assignments' deadlines.

More updates later.

Online Garage Sale.

A friend of mine is venturing to an online business soon. She’ll be having an “online-garage-sale” where she’ll upload pictures of her things she rarely or barely used then sell them on a bargain price. I am sure this will be a big hit since she has several boxes of nice unused branded clothes. All of them were collected due to her being an impulsive buyer whenever she shops. She would buy multitude of clothes that are hot and trendy even though she’s not sure if it’ll fit nice to her or she would carry the style.

Anyway, she finally decided to dispose them through putting up an online boutique. I told her she should use a reliable shopping cart software and I suggested to check out Ashop Commerce. Since she’s not well-versed with putting up a website, its ecommerce software would definitely address her worries as it has the easiest web based administration. The software accepts credit card payments online, facilitates customizable design and features without restrictions, provides reliable and ever ready technical support and unparalleled customer service, secured and most of all it only requires a small monthly investment. My friend seems quite convinced already. In fact, she’ll make a test drive of their store’s demo to check out the advanced functionality of this online shopping cart herself.

I wish my friend all the luck on this business. I will let you know of her online shop once it’s up.

Crazy PR Drops.

I don’t think Google is done with its Page Rank updating and a lot of bloggers are going crazy over it. Insanely unbelievable, really! This particular blog of mine went up from PR0 to PR3 and in a matter of 2 weeks..went down to PR2 and just yesterday, it suddenly dropped to PR0??? Oh c’mon! What’s with the sudden erratic changes?

Credit Cards for College Students.

Who says credit cards are just for working individuals? Of course, not anymore! Gone are the days when students depend on their parents for their credit card needs as supplementary accountholders. They can directly and readily apply for one for themselves. These student credit cards are truly useful for students especially when the sudden need for money arises.

There are several Credit Cards For College Students being offered online. One of the best sites that allow consumers to compare these cards is CreditCardSearchEngine.com. From here, they can search, compare and apply from among several types of credit cards that suit their needs. Various offers from the leading credit card brands are here such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card and other leading US card issuers such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Citibank. Smart Smorty!

I just finished tallying my paid blogging monitoring file and I’m so overly delighted to know that my earnings are doing well. My blog is actually a lot active now especially that Paypal Philippines accounts finally have a receiving/withdrawal facility. I’ll be posting on a separate entry as to how this can be done.

Meanwhile, let me tell you a secret about this blog advertising that I do. Do you know that one of the best paid blogging sites that I earn from is Smorty? Yup, it’s actually simple to get paid for blogging. If you just meet the following requirements, you can go ahead, try so you’ll know what I’m talking about. Your blog must just be indexed by Google and Yahoo, must be older than 3 months, must be active and must not have duplicate posts. Signing up an account with them is easy and it only takes about 72 hours or less to get your blog approved. Your earnings will be calculated according to their unique smart score system which is dependent on several blog factors like Google PR, Alexa Ranking, return rate of given tasks, tasks’ approval/decline ratio and number of completed tasks.

Earning from Smorty is actually easy, you just have to create a post about their topics that interest you, submit it for approval and then you get paid in 5 days through Paypal. Isn’t it a swift way of earning moolah? Now who says you can’t blog for money?

Feast 169.

Here's my take for this Friday's Feast!

Appetizer
What was your first “real” job?
I was a student assistant for the university’s testing center on my junior year in college. Was paid for a meager daily allowance but nevertheless enjoyed it since it was my first experience to get paid for something that I’ve worked for.

Soup
Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?
Hmmm..when I digiscrap, I usually visit and get ideas from online galleries of digital scrapbooking sites.

Salad
Complete this sentence: I am embarrassed when…
I’m in front of a crowd and all eyes are on me. Honestly, I don’t want being the center of attention.

Main Course
What values did your parents instill in you?
Perseverance, respect for others and honesty.

Dessert
Name 3 fads from your teenage years.
1.) the Macarena dance craze
2.) Boy bands – Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, 98 degrees, etc
3.) Revival of retro clothing, preppy look (Tommy Hilfiger), body piercing, etc.

Lesson Learned.

My colleagues and I had a bowling-teambuilding activity yesterday at MOA and it was a blast! The whole gang enjoyed the two-game session, shrieking and clowning not really minding which team was winning. After the game, our boss treated us to a sumptuous feast at Sbarro.

Before going home, we accompanied our colleague to a nearby shop selling cell phone accessories since she wants to buy a nice leather case for her brand new Sony Ericsson Cybershot K850. She bought an elegant pink magnetic button case at a freaking USD 25! Then she also purchased another leather case for her digital camera at USD 20. I tried convincing her not to buy yet since we can still scour for other shops that sell them at a cheaper price. My trigger-happy friend didn’t heed me and pursued her accessories shopping spree, well, probably because she’s feeling filthy rich yesterday since it was a payday.

This morning while surfing the net I came across the website of SF Planet. I excitedly showed it to my friend and you know what, she felt bad and is, still, in deep regrets over her impulsive shopping yesterday. She saw the accessories that she bought there and was stunned to know that she could have availed them at much lower prices and could’ve saved about USD 8. She hovered further at the site for the other items being offered and the more she became disappointed because she found there all the other accessories that she wanted to buy in the mall yesterday. Oh well she should have really listened to me. SF Planet offers a wide range of portable electronics accessories at the best guaranteed prices from cell phones to PDAs to Cameras to GPS. They also have variety accessories for Video Games, Audio & Video Gadgets and all other miscellaneous accessories. They have also been an eBay power seller for years meaning their reputation is indeed very impressive in terms of service, product quality, fast shipping, hacker safe and security of transaction. They accept Mastercard, Visa, Amex and even Paypal!

Going back to my friend, she has learned her lesson well. She promised to control her being impulsive when it comes to shopping. Well, she really should.

Friday-riffic!

I am just so glad that it’s Friday night! Woohoo! My favorite time of the week because:

1. It's okay to stay a bit late since tomorrow’s a no-work day, thus, no need to wake up that early.
2. I get to blog for sure..obviously, that’s what I’m doing right now.
3. I get to do paid opps..which I’ll start doing in a while.
4. This is the time when I get to plan what hubby and I will be doing over the weekend…go malling, have a DVD marathon, do house cleaning or just simply laze around (which we usually end up doing over the weekend).
5. I feel relieved that another tiring and challenging week has ended and it’s time to de-stress and relax.

How about you don’t you just also love Friday nights?

He'll Watch the Cubs Again!

A friend, who’s currently enjoying his vacation in Chicago, buzzed me just this morning. Knowing that my hubby is a baseball fanatic like him, he excitedly announced (and made hubby envious) that he got Spring Training tickets to the Chicago Cubs. He was so ecstatic to watch the Cubs again (he has watched once before) especially that he got nice seats this time. He’s more excited this time since he almost didn’t enjoy his first as the tickets he got was overpriced and to his dismay, he was seated so far and didn’t get a nice view of the game. Luckily, he was able to scour for a good ticketing site this time that sells guaranteed and fairly priced tickets and to his delight, he got a nice front view seat! He says, it’s close enough to the players’ bench which means he’ll get to catch nice photo shots (especially of A. Soriano!). My friend made my husband so envious..he assured that we’d also get to watch a live Cubs game in the future. But for the mean time, these Las Vegas Show Tickets will be divine as we get to watch cool shows in the best clubs.

Rainy Thursday!

What a rainy Thursday! I had a hard time getting to the office as I need to avoid getting wet. With a burgeoning tummy, it’s making it double hard for me to walk around. Traffic was bad also..in fact, everyone in the office is late. Lolz.

With a cool weather, isn’t it nice to just stay in bed and laze around?

Students' Savior.

Way back high school and college years, I can still remember how we would always diligently research in the campus library because of various term papers, theses, dissertations and essays that our professors assign to us. Since internet was not made available to us easily then, it often took us a lot of time since we had to resort to manual researching. The students are lucky now because they can easily seek assistance from EssayCapital.com. They do Custom Term Papers, essays, research papers writing and editing service fastly at a minimal cost. Check out their site to learn more about how they can be a savior to students.

Just for $0.25!

Look what I just shopped!

Oh yeah…I finally resumed shopping for digiscrapping goodies but no..I didn’t splurge much on this one..still on scrimping mode! Guess how much I bought for this cutie flourishing frosty brushes? $3.99? Nah! I just got them for $0.25. Weeeh! Isn’t it a nice loot? It’s actually part of Designer Digitals’ 25 cent items promo that’s good for two days every week. Can’t wait what they’ll be offering for next week!

Slot Machines.

Hubby and I are planning to go malling this weekend. We’ll start shopping for Christmas gifts already to avoid the holiday rush. Further, hubby has been bugging me as it’s been a while since he last played at Timezone. He heard that there are new magic slots and he’s anxious to try them. One of their slots got broken down so they have it replaced. Well, they should try contacting Ace Distributing. Aside from selling, buying and trading slots, they also do repair service. They also sell games by IGT, Bally, Universal Mills, Jennings and many more.

Monday Sickness.

Wow I’m just glad I survived another Monday. Work, as usual, was tiring and boring. I bet I got hit with the Monday Sickness syndrome. Argrggh! Can’t wait for the weekend! I’m definitely looking forward to it..and of course I’m excited with the payday, too, this coming Thursday! See yah later!

Online Shopping.

As I lay low a bit with my digiscrapping pursuit, aside from not having spare bucks to spend, I barely do shopping online for digital scrapbooking goodies. But way back when I was so into it, I’d always stuff my shopping cart with new releases from my favorite online stores. Although there are several digital online shops out there, I only frequent a few stores since some do not have shop-friendly carts. It’s either their payment methods are limited or they have complicated checkout procedures. Some even appears to be unreliable, making me hesitant to give out my card details. I bet they’re not using a shopping cart software like that of Ashop Commerce’s. Their ecommerce software is simply the best offering several features such as flexibility, easy to use, affordability and customizable designs. Checking out process is secured using a 128bit SSL encryption. They also offer 24-hour technical support via phone, email or live chat. They really should check out this ecommerce software if they don’t want to lose their customers.

Online Backgammon - in 12 Languages.

I have a confession to make..my husband is a certified online game freak! It’s actually his stress-reliever whenever we get home from work. He would always play Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) and recently he got addicted to online board games such as the backgammon. Actually, he was influenced by my brother who, on the other hand, is into playing online poker..

Although I’m an internet junkie, my knowledge about backgammon is really limited that’s why I don’t get to play it and just watch hubby do the action. He pointed me to Backgammonmasters site where I could learn more about the backgammon rules. I find the site interesting as it’s actually a one-stop online home for all backgammon junkies. All you need to know is here as well as you get to play backgammon with players from all over the world. Well, you might probably think of the interaction difficulty but don’t fret. BackgammonMasters.com All-in-One Game Lobby is now available in 12 languages. You can instantly switch the interface language to Chinese, Portuguese, German, Arabic, French, Hebrew, Japanese, English, Greek, Turkish, Spanish or Danish. Rising Temperature.

It was a bit hot in the office yesterday. I heard some of our cooling units conked out some time in the afternoon. No wonder our IT people where also on their toes as they go to and from, frequenting the server room. They have to closely monitor and maintain the room temperature as much as possible at its coolest; otherwise, the whole server system might break down also. Well, I heard, their unit manager finally decided to get a Temperature@lert USB room temperature sensor upon the supervisor’s advice. This is a nifty compact sensor that sends alerts through email when temperature falls outside a specified range. What a clever invention, isn’t it?

Cluster Sale.

You've waited a long time for them.
They are finally here.

I just visited another favorite digital shop of mine..the The Lilypad…and lookie here! I bet I’m few hours late but I’m still lucky to find this. I wonder what’s store in this outrageous sale. Nancy’s goodies always rock!

Sleep Haven.

Finally, dear hubby gave the go signal to start looking for a replacement of our bed. We plan to co-sleep with the little one for a while when I give birth although we’ll also be buying a crib. I found the style I want at Furniture From Home. They have a wide variety of Sleigh Bed, King Beds and Queen Beds all with different styles with reliable quality. Hubby wants a sleighbed type but I told him that we’ll just get a simpler king sized bed. This online shop also offers other room furniture so better check out their popular collections now.

Pig Latin Language.

Ellohay heretay!

Weeee! I just learned to speak the Pig Latin way! Lolz! Do you also want to learn and disguise the things you say..check this site out:

http://www.wikihow.com/Speak-Pig-Latin

It’s quite confusing and difficult at first but it’s addicting and funny!

By the way, if in case, you didn't figure out what I said earlier...it's simply "Hello There!"

In Need Of Money.

I just recently blog about my sister being interested in applying for Unsecured Loans for her computer business. Well, she’s still contemplating up to now whether she’ll go for it or not since there are several factors she’s weighing right now.

On the other hand, my mom-in-law is also thinking of renovating her house and she’s looking for a financial institution offering Homeowner Loans.

Speaking of loans, our company just recently launched a Cash Loan Program for all its regular employees which, I could say, is quite tempting really. The company has tied up with a local bank for this program and part of it is that loan applications are approved right away (since it’s being backed up or secured by the company) and that, approved loans are released instantly. With the coming holidays, I am sure a lot will be availing this as they will use it for their holiday shopping sprees or travel getaways. As for me, if ever I’ll apply for one, I’d probably allot it for my delivery fund as I’ll be giving birth on March. Although, I’ll be receiving cash benefits from the Social Security and from our health insurance, it won’t be enough to cover all the expenses so a cash loan would probably be of great help.

My SSD Wish List.

Ugh! I didn’t get to win in SSD’s Scavenger Hunt. I might have missed a $10 GC but it’s okay I took home several loots during the Digital Scrapbook Day anyway although I really wanted to win that one badly. I love Sweet Shoppe Designs and it’s really one of my favorite digi shops that I frequently visit and always get awed with their really sweet and amazing products.

So now what do they have? I just hopped over their blog and saw this one from Libby. For yesterday’s From Our Blog To Yours (a blog challenge that is part of their Sweet Rewards Program where a participant can earn a Sweet Rewards Point by just linking back their answers), the prompt is: what are your favorite Sweet Shoppe releases?

Well, actually I’m having a hard time picking since all releases are just breath taking. I can no longer trim it down further…here are my top favorites:

Cartridge Finder.

I was printing several pages of documents that my Boss needs for her presentation this afternoon when our printer toner ran out. Luckily, we still have one left in our supplies drawer. But since everyone here in the office prints heavily everyday, we need to purchase now and re-stock it. The problem is, the one in charge of ordering our supplies is still on leave and we don't have any idea what type we should be ordering. It's a good thing that we stumbled upon a Cartridge Findersite where we figured out the type of cartridge that we need. The site is indeed very useful as they have all types of cartridges for more than 10,000 different models of printer, copier and fax machines. Aside from that, they also have a merchant listing featuring where to find the best priced product that one needs.

Back At Work.

I'm back at work now after a week of absence and it's so nerve-wracking when you get back to heaps and heaps of workload waiting on top of your desk. It's as if they're screaming and waving a "welcome back" banner to you. Lol. My reliever who's supposedly backing me up was likewise on leave last week until today and she doesn't have a word when she'll be back. Oh well, I got to store lots of energy and start taking up my phase. I have to carefully manage stress though as I don't want having a scary spotting episode again.

Monday Sickness?

I’m supposed to resume work today after a week of compulsory bed rest by my OB. But here I am, still slacking at home. Oh well, I was feeling dizzy since I woke up this morning. I just slept for a few hours more making me more relieved. I’m now feeling better.

A Lifesaver.

My younger brother is requesting if he can borrow my laptop in an hour. He just got home from school and he needs to finish his mini custom term paper in one of his business subjects that’ll be due tomorrow. In fact, he’s pestering and even bribing me if I can help him do it. I’m not feeling well today so I told him to try custom-writing.org. It’s a site offering students term paper writing services which include plagiarism-free writing, editing and proofreading assistance that can be delivered in 12 hours. Oh boy he’s so glad to hear about this site. He says it’s his lifesaver.

Sweeeet!

I just hopped over Kathy’s site and look what I got from her:

She’s giving me this sweet award. Well she has given me this one probably because of the digiscrap works despite the slacking lately. Lol. Also, I think I was the first one who encouraged her to try paid blogging opportunities. Thank you so much for this award!

Liposuction.

Have you ever watched or are you familiar with the tv show Dr. 90210 shown locally over 2nd Avenue Channel? It’s actually a reality tv series where plastic and cosmetic surgery is being focused in the suburbs of Beverly Hills. It seems a lot is into it nowadays and the society, I think, has learned to accept it settling aside the morality issues that were debated upon then. Personally, I’m not against this practice so long as the patient/candidate is aware of the risks he/she’s engaging into and is qualified to undergo it and of course, the safety of the surgical operation is assured. So if you are somewhere in Europe and would like to try or know more about Liposuction UK, you can check out MYA. As they say any surgery is a big decision. They’d be able to give you all the details that you need for you to come up with an informed choice.

Can't Let Go...

Hmm, I was tagged by Kathy with this meme where I should write about things that I can’t let go of (at this time of my life). Here is mine:

1. Laptop – I just can’t let a day pass without me going online..checking my mail, my blog and my blogger friends’ updates.
2. Sweets – I know I’m preggy and all but I just can’t stay away from these sinfully delicious yummy-yums..cake, ice cream and chocolate. Well, don’t worry I’m not pigging out on them everyday…just having them once in a while and in moderation.

I am supposed to list down 3 but I can’t think of one more so I’ll settle with these 2 for the mean time. Please feel free to snag this if you want to try, too.

Business Loans.

My sister, who’s into running a small computer rental business, is in serious thoughts right now. She wants to do some expansion since some competitors have put up their own shops near her place. She’s reluctant as she hasn’t earned much profit yet since the biz is a bit going slow these days. I told her to consider applying for a Business Loan so she can still go on with her expansion plan. One site that can be of big help to her is EZUnsecured.com. Specializing for five years already, they provide the best financing solution to small businesses that seem to have cash flow challenges for their emergency needs or expansion. What’s remarkable about this company is their great service, meaning easy application processing and fast funding provided you have a good credit history (yes, no collateral needed) and complete documents are promptly submitted. I do hope my sister will get convinced so she can start with her expansion project soon.

Got Some DSD Loots!

Whew! DSD is over but the mania isn’t yet with all the sales and games still going on. I succeeded in not giving into temptation of buying any new goodies. Anyhow, I still managed to tow away goodies by joining the games, raffles, and giveaway antics of generous souls in Digishoptalk Forum. Boy, it was a blast! I already took home 2 loots courtesy of Pinay Digi-designer Gretch of She’s Full of Scrap and Tangie Baxter. I’m still awaiting and keeping my fingers crossed for the other games that I joined in. Hope I get to win at SSD, Weeds and Wildflowers, Two Sisters Beauty Marks and the $25 GC Teresa Ferguson RAK. Wish me luck!

Just A Phone Call Away.

I just checked my inbox and I’m so glad to receive an email from my sister who’s now residing in Qatar with her husband. It’s been almost two years since we last saw each other and I heard they’ll be coming home late next year for a vacation. Well, she’s currently enjoying several days off from work that’s why she and her husband are always out – malling, shopping, strolling etc. She also sent me a picture of her enjoying and ATV or a dune buggy ride on the desert. Seems she’s not so homesick after all. Oh well, it’s otherwise for us. We do miss her a lot and we really hope to see her soon. For now, it’s a good thing that she’s just an email or a phone call away. Luckily, I was able to scout online for a site offering a cheap prepaid phone card which I can use to call her in Qatar. Actually what’s good about this site is that they carry over 800+ phone cards offering inexpensive rates, good connectivity and are easily and instantly delivered online. These cards can be used to call several countries worldwide. I’ll better head on to their site soon to avail their cool Halloween Special Promo.

Digital Scrapbooking Day.

Digital Scrappers from around the world is celebrating today the premier Digital Scrapbooking Day! Wow…sales, freebies, contests and challenges, chats…I’m sure a lot of my fellow digiscrappers are pumped up today to scour all their favorite shops and digiscrapping sites. Too bad, I’m broke…I can’t shop for new kits and other digiscrapping goodies that I’ve been drooling over. Anyway, I’ve started doing paid blogging again so hopefully by next month I have enough cash to spend. By the way, check out this site for schedule of happenings today and also the official site of DSD.

For a Long Lost Friend.

I just received a Friendster message from a dear college friend whom I haven’t seen nor talked to for years. I’m glad to know that she’s doing okay, about to get married and still as active sports enthusiast as ever. She told me that she’s into rock & mountain climbing and hiking lately and oh boy, she’s addicted to it I could say. She sent pictures of her doing that tiring thing but seems she really has all the energy and obviously, she’s enjoying it. My friend and I will be meeting before the holidays to catch up more. As I-miss-you token, I’m thinking of gifting her a pair of hiking boots or Hunting Boots from metboots.com. Perhaps, I’ll just give her a gift certificate since I am not sure of her brand preference. At least she gets to choose herself the style, brand and color, also, shipping won’t be a problem as it’s free on items over USD 100. I’m sure she’ll be overly delighted and it'll get her pumped up to climb more mountains.

Wrapped Around Ribbons.

Anybody knows where I can shop more of wrapped-around ribbons like Linda Billdal’s Vintage Add-on (which I couldn’t resist buying..lol!)? I’ve seen several LOs with such and I find it as a cool embellishment around a photo or a frame.

I'm also in the look out for flowery elements such as california flowers, do you also know where I can shop?

I'm back.

After a long, three month hiatus…yes, I’m back! I had a very sensitive first trimester that kept me away from the puter for quite some time. At any rate, I’m now doing better as I breeze through the halfway mark of my pregnancy. You can read more of my pregnancy tales on my main blog.

I’m indeed back but I am just not sure and can’t promise that The Scrapaholic Me will be scrapping madly as before since my mojos haven’t returned yet. Yes, my digiscrapping kits were also on vacation just as this blog was. Lol! I miss digiscrapping though. I miss tinkering my kits, hunting and downloading freebies, shopping for good buys, etc. I wonder when my creative juices will start functioning again.
