I'm Sick.

I need to call my OB tomorrow. With my pregnancy, I can't afford to get sick but seems my body's defense gave in. Two of my colleagues were sick yesterday and it's probably from them that I got the colds virus. My boss, who was stationed near mine was heavily sneezing and was complaining about her terrible migraine. My other colleague was likewise sneezing and coughing badly. I woke up this morning with a painful throat and just this afternoon, my nose started to get congested. Probably my OB will give me some medications but for the mean time, I have to take more fluids. Hope this doesn't worsen and hope I get well soon.

I know this is kinda late, but I still have to upload this in here. Check out the layout I did for the Christmas Gifts I received last December.

ISO: Silver Bracelets

A friend of mine is celebrating her birthday on the 16th. I haven’t shopped for a gift but I do have an idea what to give her. She’s into collecting silver bracelets recently and I’m sure she’ll like this design.

Any idea where can I buy wholesale fashion jewelry locally? I heard Greenhills has wide variety of fashion jewelries but I’m just not sure if my budget would be enough.

Boracay.

A colleague of mine was lucky enough to grab Cebu Pacific’s latest offering of Php 8 seats to domestic destinations recently. Her Charlotte-based cousin will be arriving mid-February and I heard that he’ll be touring her to Boracay this March. It’s his cousin’s first time to take a vacation there so my colleague is just as anxious to showcase how nice Boracay is. His cousin is a beach-lover. In fact, every year, she sees to it to hit the beach to relax. (Recently, her family spent Christmas in one of the property rentals along Outer Banks in NC). I’m sure she’ll like and fall in love with Boracay.

V Day Gift.

Valentine's Day is fastly approaching. Have you planned or thought what to give your partner or loved one on this special day?

Honestly, with the preparation for Baby A's coming, I haven't thought yet what to give hubby. I'm actually checking out some men's jewelry online shops to give me an idea or options that would make a nice surprise for my dearly beloved husband. He's into silver bracelets so probably he'd love to have this one. What do you think?

Lookie Here.

Want to get this for free or at a discounted price?

Try your luck here quick! This is up and valid for today only.

Sadly, my preggy luck didn't work. :(

At any rate, I might be able to snag some nice freebies out there so it's okay. For the mean time and while I still have enough online minutes (before my brother bumps me off here and take my place in front of the puter), I'd better finish browsing my email quick. Hope I can get back here later and check out some cool Bedat watches I stumbled upon the web. My birthday is in few months time and probably I could include them in my wish list. :)

Our 2008 CVG Calendar.

You’ve probably came across my entry in my another blog about me being busy designing the 2008 calendars I’d be giving away to my colleagues. Yup, I’m done with that. In fact, all of our workstations in the office are now adorned with these cutie calendars I digiscrapped. Lovely, aren’t they?

Actually, calendars do make a nice and practical Holiday gifts to friends and colleagues since you’ll be remembered throughout the year. If you are not into digiscrapping, there are also adorable custom printed calendars that can be ordered online.

Plans Tonight.

Hubby and I will be out tonight. We’ll be attending a High School friend’s surprise birthday party arranged by his fiancĂ©e. From what I heard, she has set a party theme..probably a kiddie one? Lolz. I wonder if there are clowns, mascots, kiddie rides, popcorn machines, kiddie carts..well, that would be fun! Especially with the popcorn, I’ve been craving badly for buttered popcorn since yesterday. We passed by a popcorn stall at RCBC yesterday..too bad, it’s so pricey at Php 150/box.

Formaspace.

If you are an artisan, an architect or basically one who’s in search for a nice and sturdy Workbench, check out Formaspace.com. They have all sorts of rugged and heavy-duty, adjustable, multi-functional technical furniture, accessories and services. And here’s more, they can even design or customize according to your needs or preference. Go and check out their site, request a catalog or speak with their skilled design consultant.

I’ll refer this site to a friend who’s planning to re-organize her cluttered workstation.

Hello Saturday!

Yes, it's weekend! My favorite time of the week. The only time when I can freely scour the web for nice and new digscrapping goodies and freebies. Speaking of freebies, I'll be back in a while to share my recent finds. And oh, I'm controlling myself from visiting my fave digiscrapping shops..I might be enabled again to shop. Uh-oh! Later.

Planning Ahead.

It's a brand new year and that also means a brand new project planning at work. Our boss met with us last Thursday and we're given until Tuesday to prepare and come up with our own projects for the year 2008. Each one of us will be presenting our goals and plans, from where we'll derive the Purchasing consolidated list that my boss will be presenting to the whole Finance group by month-end. We're actually pretty challenged knowing how the company is directed to several expansions scheduled in the last two quarters of the year. Several expansions mean more projects...it'll definitely be tough but as long as our succession plans are in placed, then we know we'll expect a fruitful year for all of us.

Digital Friday Freebie.

If you are a freebie hoarder just like me, then better see what the Digital Friday Freebie is and allot some hard disk space for your download.

Grab it here. Make sure to check out as well its coordinating kit in the shop.

Engaged!

Guess what? My elder sister is finally engaged! Their wedding date is set on August 8, 2008. They're planning for a church wedding but since a lot of couple are getting married also on that date (believed to be a lucky date in the Chinese calendar), all the church and venues they inquired are already fully booked. Now they are faced with a dilemma whether to still continue searching for an available venue or settle for the mean time with a civil rite. But according to my sister, come what may and however it'll be, they're already decided to wed on that date. She's actually excited that she giddily showed me her engagement ring. From the looks of it, I'm sure my future brother-in-law didn't buy it from a so-so diamond rings store. The word "elegant" is actually an understatement. No wonder it took my sister's breath away when he proposed.

Asbestos = Cancer.

I didn't know that exposure to asbestos can lead to a serious cancer until I stumbled upon the word mesothelioma when I was surfing last night. I surely heard about asbestos when I was still studying..that it was often mixed with cement, brake shoes, gaskets for its heat resistance. It's also used in the past on electric oven for its electrical insulation and in building for its flame-retardant properties. But due to the danger and numerous cases brought about by asbestos fibers, many countries have banned usage of it. Should you wish to know more about mesothelioma, check out this interesting site: www.mesotheliomahelp.net, as they have a comprehensive info about it through the 100 Questions & Answers About Mesothelioma Dr. Harvey I. Pass.

Eyeglass Talks.

I'm actually one of those who's blessed with a good eyesight. Eventhough, I've been spending several hours in a day in front of the computer, I still have a normal vision thus, eyeglasses and contact lenses were never part of my vocabulary. I hope to stay that way until the time that senility will prompt me to start wearing glasses.

Well for those of you who are in need of stylish prescription eyeglasses, check out this: Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com. They have a wide selection of affordable frames and lens (single vision, sunsensor, tinted sunglasses, progressive). Check out their own manufactured frames and you'll be surprised how low their prices are.

Eve Recinella Retires.

Bad News: One of my SSD Designers is retiring.
Good News: She's having a 50% off Retirement Sale

Got a word from the weekly newsletter of Sweet Shoppe Designs that Eve is retiring. She has been one of my fave designers and in fact, my collection of digi kits and stuffs includes several of her works. Well, before I totally miss her creations, look what I stocked my shopping cart with:

Lately, most of my recent purchases are boy-themed kits and elements..well, it's time to stock them up in time for Baby A's arrival.

Uh-oh.

It's been a pretty busy week (as usual)...I know you've got accustomed with this brief hiatus I'm doing with my blog lolz. Anyway, I haven't had any new layouts recently except for the calendars I did. I'll be uploading them in a while here..I don't know if something's wrong with my external hard disk where I store all my digi layouts. I'm crossing my fingers hope it's not it. Probably it's just the HDMI cable I'm using to connect it with my lappy. I'll be back later while I figure out what's wrong.

Dad's Carbon Copy.

I know...he's his dad's carbon copy..from the head's shape, to the nose and even lips. I wonder what did he get from me.

I'm Back.

Happy New Year everyone!

Whew..that was one long break from this blog huh? The holidays got me so busy that I was able to update my other blog only. Further, work didn’t spare me plus of course, our preparation for the coming of Baby A. I’m almost on my 31st week and just a few more weeks I’m gonna pop soon. Actually, now that the holidays are over, we can now concentrate on the baby preps. We already have some baby stuffs and we might be able to complete Baby A’s layette hopefully by tomorrow when hubby and Mom-in-law shop at Divisoria. With these new things, hubby is thinking of re-organizing our room a bit. We’ll definitely need a lot of space for the baby stuffs. He’s actually wishing for a new bed (like adjustable beds) to give some more space for the crib and other baby furniture. Will be back in a while..I’m off to fiddle my new blog. More about it later.
