Cost of Living.
Kathy asked me our monthly expenses and here it goes.
- How much is your electricity bill monthly? Water?
–Our average consumption cost monthly is around Php 2,000 - 3,000. But since it’s so hot these days, it shoot up to Php 5,500 because of AC at night and electric fans running 24/7. Manila Water bills us Php 400-600 monthly. Drinking water’s about Php 600.
- Association dues, if condo?
– P100/monthly for the home owners association of the village
- Other utilities / Salaries / Other expenses?
cellphone (me & hubby) - Php 1000 / month (line and prepaid)
internet/landline - Php 3000 - 4000 (inclusive of international long distance calls)
Sky Cable - Php 635 / month
Yaya - Php 3000 / month
All Around Maid - Php 3000 / month
Fuel Expenses - Php 4000
Life Insurance - Php 24000 / yr (for me and hubby)
Car Insurance - Php 12000 / yr
- Groceries? Market?
groceries: Php 5,000 / month
market: Php 6,000 / month
baby milk: Php 700 / month (Asher’s exclusively breastfed so the formula's just on standby)
diapers and other necessities : Php 1000 / month (we don’t spend much on diapers because the little one uses briefs lately during the day and diapers at night lang)
Whew! I guess we better review our budgeting and planning strategy. We aren't earning much but I know we'll get to earn more savings if we can manage better our expenses.
Kaboodling at Amazon.
I'd be browsing some shops shortly for new pocket watches. This is what a friend wishes for her birthday soon.

Blue Lotus.
Blue Lotus is actually a common name of Nelumbo nucifera and is classified as ethnobotanical just like Hawaiian Baby Woodrose and Morning Glory. Ethnobotanical is a term used for plants that possess healing properties. You may further see details and shop blue lotus which comes in the form of oil at Iamshaman.com. This absolute oil is made without harsh chemical and and is made in strictly controlled and sterile environment just like the other botanical specimens sold in their store which are used for archival, ornamental, herbarium specimen, or as incense components purposes. One thing that's admirable with this shop is their cause to support the organic herbal farmers or indigenous tribes in the Brazilian Rainforests, Africa, and elsewhere. Shop in there to share and support their cause.

Pickleberrypop Buzz.

I checked out her store and oh boy, who couldn't resist these products.

I think there's one more in the store that includes wonderfully extracted san francisco flower. I just have to check my paypal balance if it can still spare a few bucks for that kit.

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all Dads out there!
To my beloved Papa who's in a desert land and thousand miles away from us, I love you so much!
To my other Papa, my father-in-law, happy father's day po!
And of course, to my dear husband...Asher and I are so grateful to have you in our lives. Thank you for everything that you do for us. We love you so much! (We love you right up to the moon -- and back) :)
Hope you enjoyed the family's special lunch treat for you. In addition, since the car insurance is due this week, the "bill" is on me..okay?

Drooling.

Asher went on a swimming escapade last weekend and these kits are definitely nice for his pics. I love the swimming shorts, suits, the sun and vintage sunglasses elements of the Heat Wave Kit. The Big Fish Little Fish Kit is really awesome, too. Asher and hubby has a nice pic taken while they're swimming and the kit theme is very apt especially that it's Father's Day on Sunday. Hmmm, let's see if the magic key find its way to unlock my paypal wallet. Lolz.

Hot Finds: Shabby Cottage

I'll be starting a new tag in this digiscrapping nook and I'll label it as Hot Finds. Every now and then, I'll be featuring my recent digiscrapping stuff discoveries - whether it's a purchase or just a freebie..and I shall also post my layout/s on which I used the said stuff.
So with my first one, here's Shabby Cottage which is the very first site collab of the ShabbyPickleDesigns designers. Check it out now as it's for sale at 60% off its regular price.
Here's the layout I did with this fantabulous kit:
Title: To Kiss
Meanwhile I'll go ahead and search for techie and gadgets themed kit which I'll use to scrap my Father's Day layout for my dear hubby. Anyone knows where I can buy element packs with playstation 3, computers, iPods, cellphones, etc?
