Our T.H.E class way back elementary and freshman (HS) years exposed me into all sorts of crafts. We were taught how to crochet, made various projects that involved sewing (hand towel handle, an apron, etc), cross-stitching which became a hobby later and enabled me to finish several masterpieces. Then we were also taught how to make a throw pillowcase made of yarn and a lampshade. And now, with the advent of technology, I am hooked with digital scrapbooking.

Squealing and Giggling Asher.

I can't get enough of Asher's videos so here's another one featuring him giggling and squealing in so much delight. This was taken just yesterday when his Daddy was playing with him peek-a-boo. According to Mybabycenter:

Hearing your baby laugh is not only a joy — it’s a sign that your baby is developing emotionally and socially. Have fun triggering a giggle by gently tickling those toes or thighs. Or develop a pint-size comedy routine by making exaggerated facial expressions and funny animal sounds, snorts, and whistles. Don’t be surprised if your baby joins in with an ecstatic squeal that might catch your attention and make you laugh back.

Blabber Asher.

Hubby just recently downloaded a movie converter, and thanks to it, I was able to finally compress this video upload it to Youtube recently. Pardon the poor lighting (the need for a hi-def camcorder is very evident) and the daddy's funny dialogue but nevertheless, I'm sure you'll have fun watching our little blabber. This was shot some time April; our little one at 2 1/2 months.

An On-Call Drug Reference Guide.

Tomorrow's our little one's monthly check-up schedule so before driving to Frisco for the weekend, we'll be heading to the hospital first. No immunization via the needle to be given but he'll have orally the second dose of Rotarix which is an anti-diarrhea vaccine. Hoping and looking forward to hear that everything's well with our little one who's turning five months old next week.

I'll be printing later this info about drug reference guide from Epocrates. The pediatrician might not have heard about this yet so I'll inform her that this guide will be useful in her prescribing decisions such as drug dosing, side effects and health plan coverage. I saw that she has a Blackberry phone so this will function with it. The guide comes with free medical Pocket PC, Palm and Windows Mobile softwares. I bet she'll be allured with this thing.

Thanks Diane!

Look here what Diane has RAKed (Random Act of Kindness) me with.

Isn't she sweet and isn't my son a darling? I was so lucky to have his first successful "heads up" adventure captured and his sunny smile and pose added delight even more. Such a sweet memory to cherish. It's actually one of my favorite shots that's why when Diane asked an Asher pic to scrap, I knew which photo to give. My son's definitely a charmer and I'm just so overly delighted that Diane whipped up a layout with it. Thanks girl!

Meanwhile, my download isn't through yet (my connection's so slooowwwwwwwww) so I'll just check out some kitchen faucets online. The helper broke our faucet's handle that's why we have to replace it asap.

For the Nth time.

So while I'm downloading a kit which I'm going to use for another CT layout soon, blogging and setting my mood to a sleepy mode, the husband's beside me watching The Gladiator over at HBO for the nth time. Such medieval themed movies are his favorites and he wouldn't mind watching them over and over again up to the point that he has memorized already the scenes sequence and even the dialogue. He's so glued to the boob tube enjoying the movie as if he's relaxed on a theater seating. Shall I bring in the popcorn, honey?

The template I used will be making its debut on the shop this coming friday so stay tuned for that.

Meanwhile, see how big Asher has become already and I, myself is even surprised how fast he's growing. Can someone stop the time please? Before I know it, he's walking and running soon. Although I'm ecstatic about his growth and development, I'd still want to baby him. I'm definitely delighted and fulfilled seeing that he's thriving well. As for me, obviously there's some weight loss over the past months, but I'm just okay. Being a mother can be tiring but as they say, it's a very rewarding experience and in fact, the highest paying job there is since payment is pure love.

Nursery Chest.

Lookie here what I've stumbled upon at Sunshine Studio Scraps. A kit entitled Nursery Chest. And I'm quiet drawn to all the elements contained and honestly, I'm 50-50 undecided whether I'll hit now the checkout button in the shop or not. Whew! If only I have some spare buck to shell out of my paypal wallet, I could have snagged it right away. I like it because I can make use of it to scrap tons of Asher pics. All baby-related stuffs are here except for strollers which I wished Moon Scraps have included. Nevertheless, these are packed with other outrageous elements so this might end in my hard disk later. Lolz.

Cheap Prescription Eyeglasses.

While I'm googling about digiscrapping kits with eyeglasses embellishments or of that sort for a genius-themed layout I'll be doing, I stumbled upon this great site zennioptical.com. It is an online store offering stylish prescription glasses for as low as $8. They have a wide array of lens selection from single vision lens to tinted sunglasses and progressive lens. What's remarkable about them is that their prices are so affordable since they are offered at wholesale price.

Starlight Starbright.

I have been planning to digiscrap a CT layout but I just couldn't find a spare time to do so. We're nannyless since last week that's why my online and computer time is just restricted to checking mails and beating deadlines of pending online tasks. I'm praying and hoping that Manang Lita will be here by next week.

Anyway, last night, since I'm through with all the online assignments I got and after knowing what Leptitrex is all about, I finally found a time to whip up a quick layout. Here's my first CT layout using Aja Abney's Dreamer Kit available at scrapartist.com. You may also click on the kit's image to visit Aja's shop.

Some Kinda Love Freebie.

Ellie Lash and her hubby had their wedding anniversary last Monday and to celebrate it, she created and shared this wonderful freebie: Some Kinda Love. This went directly to my download files as I love the hue as well as the "love always" beaded bracelet. Click on the image to be directed to Ellie's post.

Meanwhile, I'm off to check out the diet pills my friend just recently bought.

Kylie's Invite 2 and a Toot.

Okay..I have a toot to boot.

Aja Abney of Scrapartist.com announced last week a Guest CT Call at MSA and DST. And in order for me to drive back my digiscrapping mojos, I responded to her call by doing a layout using her Be My Guest Mini Kit. Here's the layout I submitted:

Lullaby

Nigh & Day Ribbon by Beth Rimmer
Love You Element by Coralie Designs
Sleep Tight Element by Misty Cato

And guess what, I got accepted! Ang the bigger news is that I'm offered not with a guest stint but with a permanent position. I'm now officially one of Aja's girls. Check out the annoucement here. I'm so excited to work with Aja and the rest of the team.

On another note, here's the second baptism invite I did for Kylie. Unlike the first one, I went for a neat and simple one using just two papers still from Julie Billingsby's Yesteryear Baby Collection. I made two layouts entirely with two different styles so my sister-in-law has an option. I'm unsure of her taste so it's up to her which ever she chooses.

Kylie - Invite 2

So there, I think my digiscrapping mojos are finally back. I have a commitment to fulfill so you'd see new layouts uploaded here every now and then.

I have to go now as a friend just buzzed over YM and asked me to help her find online jobs in Chicago to apply for. Her US Visa just got approved and she's bound to migrate there by the end of this year.

Kylie's Invite 1

My sister-in-law asked me a favor to design and digital scrap a layout for her daughter's Christening invitation. This just came in time as I have a newly bought girl-themed kit by Julie Billingsby of Sweet Shoppe Designs. It's part of the Yesteryear Baby Collection which is currently at 30% off its original price.

Here's the first invite I whipped up using the said kit. I am yet to upload the second one on which I used the same kit as above.
