Freebies Galore!

I know I promised that I'll be posting my recent freebie finds. My apologies if it took me a while to share because of numerous online tasks I had to prioritize these past few days. Added to that is my assignment given by my sister to research online about alli and other slimming products. Well, I couldn't blame her for wanting to lose weight fast..her wedding is just four months away and she has still several fats to shed in order for her to fit in her gorgeous bridal gown.

At any rate, click on the preview images to get to the download page of each freebie. As usual, please don't forget to give them some love and oblige with their stipulated TOUs. Have fun downloading!

What Kind of Wine Are You?

You Are Chardonnay

Fresh, spirited, and classic - you have many facets to your personality.

You can be sweet and light. Or deep and complex.

You have a little bit of something to offer everyone... no wonder you're so popular.

Approachable and never smug, you are easy to get to know (and love!).

Deep down you are: Dependable and modest

Your partying style: Understated and polite

Your company is enjoyed best with: Cold or wild meat

I have to admit I don't know much about wines. Perhaps I have to start checking out the featured wine of the month club in one of the online forums I am registered at just so to have an idea. Actually, I'm not really a wine drinker, but it's interesting to see that I'm a Chardonnay. I wonder what does it taste like? I have to agree though to each that was described of me - fresh, spirited, classic; sweet and light but can be deep and complex. I have to say that is exactly the irony of myself.

Color Theme Hunt.

Anyone knows any digiscrapping shop that sells papers, elements or a kit with a flowery and colorful theme such as this:
This is actually a Ju Ju Be lush paisley diaper bag that I saw over at their site. I love the colors that I want to make it as an inspiration for a layout theme which I'll be doing hopefully soon. I love the effect of the blue hue combining with the overall green color. I think Sweet Shoppe Designs has several kits with such theme but can you direct me to a specific kit's page?

Kate Hadfield's Something New!

The moment I saw Kate's new collab with Jacque Larsen and Jodie McNally through her e-group newsletter, I fell in love with this sweet kit:

Included in this HUGE kit are....
13 pieces of word art by Jodie.
13 had doodled elements by Kate.
1 Uppercase alphabet including numbers and symbols A,?, and . by Kate.
15 hand painted, hand pieced paper pieces by Jacque.
7 hand painted soild papers by Jacque.
5 hand doodled patterned papers by Kate.
2 FREE Quick Pages by Jodie.

I'm such a sucker with any wedding-related stuffs and this made me want to unearth my wedding photos and make layouts again. I love the papers and elements doodles and the colors are real charming. It has just made its debut at The Lilypad and it's on sale at 20% off its original price. I'm really tempted to buy this to avail of the special price but my paypal is broke. Nothing's left since I shopped like manic at Gymboree and Old Navy sales last week. Too bad. I'm nesting it on my cart for the mean time and I'll check it out the moment my paypal is replenished.

By the way, I watched this morning an entrepreneurial show in which they featured a t-shirt printing business making use of digiscrapped layouts as their design. It's quite interesting as it's seems easy to start it up. The materials and machines used aren't that complex. In fact, for most of their simpler designs, they just use an airbrush. The brains behind this business is genius and I must say, indeed artistic.

Just a Quick Post.

Happy Saturday everyone! I have pooled some nice freebies over the week and I'll be sharing them in a bit. I just got an assignment from hubby that I need to finish within the day. He brought home yesterday several documents and he's asking me to compare car insurance quotes. Well, he's actually seen them already but he wants to seek my opinion first before he finally decides which one to choose.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend. I'll be back in a while.

dNeero-ites want to know!

One of the things I like about Dneero is when you get to initiate your own question relevant to the topic for posting. It excites me more whenever I see alerts that there have been dneero-ites who answered to mine..because that means my prompt is quite interesting enough to stir their thoughts.

NSBR: Medical Minute.

Clinicians, doctors, and other health care professionals (or even if you're just an ordinary patient who wishes to know about a certain condition, drugs etc), hear ye hear ye!

Have you heard about Epocrates' latest free online clinical solution in which one can easily refer to for a certain disease and drugs that can medicate it? It's a sort of a complete medical reference guide of diseases and ailments, the condition, risk factors, the risks, approach how to treat it. For prescribing purposes, this reference guide aids the health care professional to carefully determine which particular drug including its dosing and interactions will best work and cure the patient. Let's say one suffers Depression, this online guide will let you know the key highlights of the sickness like how it is generally characterized (persistent low mood, loss of interest, reduced energy). It also entails how is it likely to be treated (psychotherapy, antidepressants). Probable means of acquisition are also listed (family history, have experienced recently stress, trauma or loss). For the health care professionals, diagnostic tests and treatment options would be very beneficial in their prescribing decisions.

This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

The Look Of Love.

Layout share...

I love this pic of Asher and me. I love using our baby sling and this picture says it all as to why I love it. The closeness, the bond...babywearing definitely manifests it.

NSBR: No Sweat

Do you have an athletic family member? If yes, do you encounter problems with regards to their used clothing right after their sports activities like unpleasant odor, etc? How do you manage it come washing time? Personally, since hubby's into basketball, I depend solely on commercial laundry detergents that claims that they eliminate stubborn bacteria-causing-sweat odor. Luckily, they're effective for me.
