No Classes Today.

There's a typhoon hovering us today and in fact, according to the weather bureau, it will directly pass through Metro Manila later this evening. They already raise it to storm signal #2 here in the metropolis so that means school classes are suspended. Prior to this, some schools have temporarily declared a week long suspension due to the A(H1N1) pandemic flu scare. Now the Department of Education has summoned school administration to make ways and still meet the required number of school days throughout the school year despite these suspensions. This got me thinking again the benefit of studying in online colleges. They aren't affected of such and they can do study right at the comfort of their homes regardless of storm signals and flu scares. Speaking of online schools, I just viewed Capella University's latest ‘Inside Online Education’ podcast that features a discussion of state-approved reading and literacy program of the university. The testimonies of Capella students, faculty and staff sound convincing that I'm putting Capella one of my top online university choices when I decide to pursue a graduate degree programs in business in the future.
