The Masteral Dream.

Hubby and I revisited our major plans in the next couple of years last night and we're both relieved to know that we're doing good. One of our long term dreams is shaping up..slowly but in time, we know we'll get there. I hope this materializes so that I can take on my second long term goal that is to have a masteral degree. I have always longed to obtain a masteral degree in business but with our current priorities, I cannot just take it up yet. Perhaps in three years time, I can enroll in one of our local online colleges but if I'll get luckier, I'd be more than willing to study at Capella University. It is an accredited and full online university based in MN and the leading online graduate school for employed adults. It currently serves more than 23,400 students across the US and 45 other countries. I heard so much positive reviews about them on their podcasts where they feature students, faculty and staff testifying how great Capella is.

Sleepy Driving.

I'm sure you have heard on the news about a certain actress's car accident the other night. She bumped into a halted delivery van while approaching the red stop light. The driver of the van said that he just suddenly felt a loud thump at the back and relates further, that the actress appeared to be sleepy that time. Well, according to the latest reports, she just incurred minor bruises (her Porsche hood was a wreck though) and she's recovering very well. The actress offered to pay the van driver the damages that she caused. She might have hired the services of Seattle personal injury attorneys if the story was otherwise. I wonder how much the repair on her Porsche will cost her.

Me and My Sweet Tooth.

I already ate my dinner but it seems that I'm craving for something to munch while I work tonight. I blame these new goodies from the-lilypad designs for making me go hungry even more. Don't you just want to have a bite on the sweet little cake? My sweet tooth really is tempted to do so. LOL.

Halloween Party Invitations.

Invitations Halloween A friend's daughter will celebrate her first birthday on the last week of October. Her mom asked me for party theme suggestions and I thought, since it's Halloween by that time, why not hold a costume party. She can hand out Halloween Invitation to the guests. Then they could also initiate a trick or treat activity for the kids in the neighborhood as part of the party.

For the invitations, I told her that I just saw the Latest Designs Halloween Invitation online and they will surely go well with the party theme. What's great about the site is they can do customized layouts and she can view Halloween Party Invitations with the patented Instant Preview Features before she can finalize her Halloween Costume Invitations order. My friend liked the idea and she's inclined to proceed with the party preps with the above theme and Party Invitations Halloween in mind.

Online Shopping

The loots my Twittermates and I shopped online a few months back have finally arrived. We're so lucky because we have a Boston-based friend who can do the shopping and shipping for us all here. We're saving much because we don't get to spend international shipping fees and what we do is just divide and pay evenly for the much cheaper seafreight box fees. Aside from being our personal shopper, she's also our shopping guru and prompter for sales. She certainly knows which sites offer the best deals and best buys like buy.com. In fact, I have my cart there filled with a few stuffs already. I'm just contemplating if I could check them out now or wait for my payday this coming friday so I can shop for more.

Silver.

Precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum may still be the safest investment in an ever changing economy. With the US dollar value declining, stocks downturning and real estate doing not so good either, turning to an investment that is proven to be strong over the years is the best means to turn to. They may be in any form: coins, ingots, bullions. All of these promise great values that will surely spell good return of investment. Monex Deposit Company (MDC) provides people ways and means to buy the rarest yet safest precious metals. They've been in the industry for thirty years now and have proven their reputation and leadership so well through their overly happy and satisfied clients.

Doing The Math.

Last Sunday, hubby and I revisited and updated our monthly spreadsheet of expenses. It was so frustrating and disappointing to see the after computation figures. Geez numbers can really knock you down in these economic hard times. Endless bills, food and grocery expenses and Asher's month long baby supplies..those are the huge part of the expenses circle. Savings can barely cope up. I just hope that our mansion project dreams will still remain viable as planned. If there's one thing that we can be thankful of for the month is that there are no life or auto insurance premium dues coming up. But then again, time is as speedy as a lightning. We have to ready ourselves because the next thing we'll know, the insurance bills are already at our mailboxes.

What Does Stemulite Do?

I just got a dose of my early morning sunshine outside and I just saw our athlete neighbor doing her daily work out training. All of us need the basic blocks of protein to go on with our regular day to day activities. But there are those who need more amount than the average to meet the requirements of their lifestyles, say the athletes. Their body mass index shouldn't exceed the limit at all times, muscle tone, strength and endurance must always be at their maximum capacity. Since these athletes work out and do extensive exercises all throughout for most of their trainings, they take in supplements to help boost their energy and reduce their muscle soreness brought about by exercise. Luckily, there's Stemulite that they can turn to for an all natural support. These are supplements that create, repair and maintain healthy muscle tissues. Check out the extensive reviews and testimonials made by the health buffs on their site.

Ready..Get..Set..

..Buy. Oopps, before you finally purchase that gun for your airsoft hobby, have you familiarized yourself first with the knick knacks and how does an airsoft electric gun work? There are many things to consider in choosing the right airsoft gun. It's not only about pulling the trigger. It's a must that you research and canvass before claiming it sold.

Electric Airsoft for Airsoft Electric Guns Needs

Electric Airsoft Guns
Although there are plenty of great reasons to purchase an electric airsoft gun, you need to be careful about doing your research ahead of time. Like any purchase, the less you know before spending the money the greater the risk of experiencing buyer's remorse. And there's no good reason to mar your enjoyment of the electric airsoft equipment by not spending a little time doing at least some background research on what's available. So before you decide to spend a dime, here are some tips that can help you make a smart airsoft electric guns purchase.

Know the Purpose for the Air Soft Electric Gun

First, you have to understand why you want the gun in the first place. There are plenty of good reasons to choose one but you need to know the primary purpose for yours because different styles of weapons are going to be better for different uses. For example, if you are going to be shooting at your friends on a course you'll probably want something faster than a manual spring pistol just wouldn't be the best choice. You're not going to be competitive when you have that delay between your shots.

When you think about how you are going to be using the gun first, you'll have some guidance in which models to search for. If nothing else, you'll have some way of getting across to a seller or customer service representative what you're wanting from the gun airsoft product you plan to purchase. Of course, if you plan to use it for lots of reasons, your best choice is the electric model known as an AEG.

Consider the Electric Airsoft Gun Speed

Don't buy one of these electric airsoft guns unless you know the speed it can shoot in feet. Without this knowledge, you could end up purchasing an item that won't deliver the results you want. For example, if you're looking for a machine gun unit you'll definitely want to looking into the Airsoft electric guns line because these are capable of shooting between 300 and 400 feet per second. Keep in mind that those numbers also indicate the safe firing distance between you and other people.

Think about the Cold and Effects on the Airsoft Electric Gun

While this may sound a little ridiculous, the truth is the weather can have a big impact on you choice of airsoft weapons. If you're playing in a very cold location and you've chosen a gas powered rifle, for example, you could be in for a big surprise when it doesn't work. That's because most of the gas powered guns won't work in very cold conditions. Spring loaded might be a better option if you're just wanting to do some target practice outdoors. However, if you're looking forward to running the course with some friends in zero degree temperatures while snow is still on the ground you're going to want an Airsoft electric guns. They don't freeze up but they do provide rapid firing action. All of that makes a great reason to invest in Electric Airsoft.

The birthday party of gabriel

Two Things.

I can't help but laugh when my sister requested me to do things before she left for HK the other day for her birthday next month. One, check out Clickthecity for a new Greenbelt restaurant to try where we could celebrate and eat our hearts out. And two, research for the most effective diet pills. She surely knows that we'll have a grand fiesta eating great foods so she wants to make sure that she has a ready antidote to work on the fattening effect of these foods. She cracked me up with her humor. She's always like that and I wish she stays the same...to have always a positive outlook in life as she turns a year older again.

All About Springs.

New to Airsoft and looking for an affordable yet effective newbie tactical equipment for your target shooting practice? Check out the info below regarding spring airsoft guns. There are reasons why you should have this among your first equipment line.

Spring Airsoft Guns, Lots of Fun!

Airsoft Guns SpringerSpring airsoft guns may have been one of the options you deliberately overlooked as you were searching for your first airsoft gun. That could be unfortunate because there are plenty of great reasons to consider these guns over the alternatives. A spring rifle or pistol does not have to be poorly made just because it happens to be affordable. Here are some of the reasons to consider changing your attitude about these guns.

Airsoft Guns - Ease of Use

An asset of the airsoft gun is their convenience. If you go out shooting with your friends using an AEG rifle, for example, you may end up needing to recharge the battery after a short amount of time. If you choose a gas-powered model instead, you may end up running out of gas and needing a replacement canister. With one of these spring airsoft shotguns, however, you don't have to worry about running out of anything other than BBs. That means you can enjoy yourself and only worry about bringing along some additional ammunition.

Airsoft Spring Rifles Sound

Did you know that these spring airsoft guns are actually much quieter than their competition? That means if you're interested in practicing some covert shooting or some stealth missions with your friends then you can always use this type of weapon to ensure that you are quiet enough to sneak up on them. That can also be a good idea if you don't want to startle your neighbors while you are shooting at targets in the backyard.

Airsoft Spring Pistols Price

Most people who are just getting started with an airsoft hobby may want to keep their investment to a minimum, at least until they see how much they enjoy the activity and whether or not it keeps their interest enough to warrant a larger investment. Airsoft spring pistol are some of the most affordable choices on the market. Their price tags are dwarfed by the costs of AEG or gas powered guns. That means you can save a lot of money by choosing this option. Not having to spend extra on those extra gas canisters is going to keep your costs lower, too.

Are There Any Disadvantages to the Spring Airsoft Guns

While there are many advantages to using airsoft spring gunairsoft spring gun, they aren't perfect and do have some drawbacks. One of the biggest for some users is that these guns can only shoot a single round at a time. That means these airsoft weapons aren't first good choices if you plan on playing airsoft matches with your friends. If that's what you're hoping to do with the weapon than an AEG model is going to be a better choice.

The LilyPad Team Calls.

The Lilypad is one of my favorite digital scrap goodies sites. If only I can manage to squeeze some time in my busy online works and digiscrap...and granting I have the advanced skill and guts, I would really apply and take a chance to be one of the Pollywogs.

And for the designers out there, TLP also has a design team call. Take your chance now!

Back To School Promo at Zenni Optical.

Do you have children who, unfortunately, have eye problems and have to wear eyeglasses? Listen as I just saw Zenni Optical on TV!!! Back to school season is nearing in the US so what better deal they can offer than a cheap $ 8 Rx eyeglasses Back to School Promo. Check out Zenni Optical's site now and you'll be amazed how huge their children frames collection is in different styles and designs. I'm sure parents will do High Five to Zenni Optical because they won't have to deal anymore with poorly made and unsturdy frames of their kids.

Saturday Digi Freebie Finds.

Reporting on a Saturday night to give you my freebie finds. I'm a bit tired from an afternoon day out with my boys but I have to be online tonight to meet some work deadlines. I'm extremely busy these past few days that I'm trying not to let stress engulf me whole. Shoot! I so want to take a vacation or have some therapeutic activities like a spa treat or shopping! Awesome! Especially the latter and it would be just timely because a friend of mine has uploaded new stuffs for sale pics on her flickr and they are all tempting. The unbelievably wholesale price makes it even more alluring. I especially love the Oakley shades she has on bargain. I told the husband if he wants one and he said yes but right away took it back when he learned of the price. The condition he set was if it's below $10, it's a go. What the heck..is there an Oakley at such a very loooooow price? I bet there is but the tag could probably Okley..or Boakley..you know the imitation stuffs.

Anyway, I've talked too much already. Here are my recent freebie finds:

Sudden Interest on Airsoft.

Hubby and I have just watched a Sports Show on TV and they featured about the game of Airsoft. We both find it interesting so I decided to research more about airsoft, airsoft play venues, tactical uniforms and of course, tactical equipment such as airsoft guns, airsoft rifles and airsoft pistols. Thanks to Sarah Porter for giving me this very good read about airsoft.

Airsoft bb Guns, Airsoft Rifles and Airsoft Pistols

Airsoft Electric GunsWhen you have an Airsoft BB Gun, you need to keep in mind a few factors that will maximize your enjoyment of the gun and its longevity. By following a few simple tips, you can continue to use your UHC Airsoft for many years to come, especially if you've chosen a reliable and well-crafted purchase.

Choose High Quality Air Soft BBs

Normally when you purchase one of these soft air guns, you're going to get some bbs with your purchase. This is a fairly standard practice. Most people will use those up before getting any new ones and just figure they are a bonus with the purchase. Unfortunately, that ammunition is not going to be of the best quality available. And that can be a big problem.

The problem is that low quality ammo like these can actually damage the inner workings of your gun. That's why you're better off heading out to your favorite gun accessories site and buying some fresh, high quality bbs and just tossing those in the trash. If you do want to use them, keep them around for old firearms that you don't care as much about.

The best choice is always to spend the extra cash and purchase the highest quality Airsoft pellet you can get your hands on. If not shops in your area sell high quality accessories, you should consider looking online for options.

Keep Your Airsoft BBs Guns Lubricated

While bad BBs can cause damage to your gun's interior, they aren't the only potential problem you should worry about. Another problem can come from not properly lubricating your equipment. When the BB is released through the gun with all of that kinetic energy, it causes a great deal of friction and heat within the gun. The lubrication helps reduce this and thus protects the gun from damage. When you're choosing a lubricant, always opt for a silicon-based product because these are the best available for these guns. You'll find these lubricants in most of the same places where you purchase the guns.

If you're not sure how often to use the lubrication, the best estimate is handle this task after every 4,000 pellets shot from your BB Air Soft firearm.

Protect Your BB Airsoft Weapon

While a real gun is made of materials designed to withstand some pretty tough handling, that's not the case with these options. If you end up dropping your Airsoft bb rifle too frequently, for example, you could cause the breakage of different internal parts. If you bang it against anything with much force, you could also damage the exterior and that's not desirable either. Always remember that these items need to be treated carefully so they are not damaged. Any damage can reduce their usability and even cause them to stop working altogether. This is a good reason to always keep your gun in a carrying case when not in use, too. The case would offer some protection from drops, bangs, and other potential damage as well.

Eye Jewelry???

I've just browsed a blog that has articles about eye jewelry. It's a dangling one that you seemingly stick to your eyes one end and it has trinkets on the other end. I could have snagged the photo for you to get a clearer picture of what I'm pertaining to but I am just unsure if it's okay to do so. Anyway, I just find it quite absurd to have our delicate eyes wear jewelries. I wonder if the creator of it have gone blind already.

Speaking of jewelries, a friend asked me to browse online for a designer costume jewelry that he can give his wife as a birthday gift next month. I would have suggested the eye jewelry I mentioned above but he might kill me if his wife gets blind. LOL. I told him instead to try the Holsted Jewelers. I have heard great raves and feedback about their craft and how greatly satisfied their customers have always been with their exclusively designed jewelries. With that I am very sure that my friend will get delighted upon seeing his wife go "wow" when she receives the jewelry.

Patiently Waiting.

A friend of mine is due to give birth next month. She and her husband are our close friends since High School and in fact, they are my son's godparents. We're all excited because their baby will be the second in our circle of friends and their firstborn is also a boy. We hope that our sons will grow to be the best of friends too. Since the big day when the stork will touch down is near, we're already planning to buy baby gifts for the little prince. Thanks to babynest.com, we can search and shop online for personalized baby and nursery essentials that will surely delight not only the baby, but the parents as well. Babynest.com is a sibling site of TheKnot.com that offers a wide array of adorable and personalized creative baby gifts.

Photobook Update.

So if in case you're wondering what's up with Asher's birthday photobook I've been doing, well, unfortunately, I don't have new updates to share. I've been busy with my online works lately that I don't have time to whip even just one spread. I try to squeeze in a few minutes but everytime I open my Photoshop, my creative juices don't cooperate. I spend tons of minutes conceptualizing the design then I end up closing the software empty-handed later. I think I'm almost half way done with the book so hopefully, I can find some time to finish the rest.

July Desktop Calendar Freebie Anyone?

Hmm...I know this freebie share is a bit late. But hey, you still have 22 days to use this July Desktop Calendar for your desktop. This was made and shared by Kenna of Weeds and Wildflowers. She used Gina Miller's goodies from Life 365 Collection. So should you find the elements she used, be sure to snag the hefty collection made by Gina.

Click on the image to get to the Weeds and Wildflowers Blog where you can download the said freebie.

Places That I Dread To Visit.

One of the places that I dread to visit the most is a hospital. Funeral parlors are on the top list and hospitals is the second top. Obviously, these two are associated with unpleasant things and happenings...death and getting sick. The last time I've been to the hospital was when I had my cholecystectomy or the removal of gall bladder due to gall stones last year. Aside from the physical pain and discomfort I endured, I just hate the ambiance and smell of medicines. Luckily, the laparoscopy done on me was not that painful and they didn't put on a catheter on me. In fact, I got discharged just after two nights of confinement. I wonder if hospitals order their medical supplies online like retailers such as Allegro Medical. For more than a decade, they've been offering medical equipment and home health care supplies in the United States. I bet no one will disagree if I say that ordering online or web shopping is a lot easier and more convenient than traditional shopping in malls.

Template Freebie.

Here's another template freebie alert from none other than Scrapping With Liz. It's actually part of her Template #116-120 set that is for sale in her store. What's interesting about this template is its fade effect. According to Liz "You can either clip a paper to the background and it will fade out or you can clip a big picture to the background.".

Click on the image to get to the download page of this freebie.

Delicious Scraps Freebie.

Who doesn't love freebies? If you love collecting alphas, then better bookmark Delicious Scraps' Blog. You'll get your free daily alpha and element fix from this generous and talented designer. As always, respect her TOU and don't forget to leave her some love. Check these out for sample of her freebies.

Beauty School Directory.

Finally, after so many months of sporting a long hair and most of the time pulled up into a ponytail, I had my haircut this morning. It's a lot shorter than what I used to have. I have to commend the hairstylist because he did it well. I wonder if he attended one of the cosmetology schools in kansas. I overheard he's gone abroad to study cosmetology in the US. I'll go find the school he went to by browsing FindABeautySchool.com. It is a beauty school directory that enlists every accredited beauty schools in the United States and are searchable by state or zip code.

Yellow Is What I Want.

Life's pretty busy lately online and offline that I don't have much time to continue Asher's birthday photobook I started last month. But before I totally forget about it, I'll really try to squeeze in some time this week to do even just one spread.

On another note, I'm pretty occupied too browsing Naturehills.com. My grandmother has started a new project in the garden and she's asking me for good ground covers options. Being the yellow flower lover that I am, this, Coral Bells Citronell is on top of my list:

Coral Bells Citronelle, Heuchera x villosa 'Citronelle' PPAF, is a flashy new sport of Heuchera 'Caramel'. The large lobed leaves are a striking lime-yellow color that will definitely draw attention in the garden!
