Online Education

Aren't you fascinated how technology specifically the internet does wonders? Aside from enabling one to shop, bank, and all other things online, one of the most magical thing for me is to let you enroll in those online colleges and study at the comfort of your homes. Take Capella University as an example. It is based in Minneapolis but students worldwide can take any of their graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety. As raved about in their latest Inside Online Education podcast, Capella has now become one of the top provider of master’s and PhD degrees for working adults with a state-approved specialization in reading and literacy. Now who says that one needs to go abroad just to avail quality education when it is made available to you online?

Wild, Wild West Kit

I think I found the perfect kit I'll buy for Asher's horse-riding pictures at Wright Park in Baguio next month. These are also perfect for his carousel ride pictures taken at Enchanted Kingdom last month and at Andie's party last Saturday.

The Wild, Wild West Kit by Krystal Hartley and Pamela Donnis can be bought at Sweet Shoppe Designs and include handmade felt pieces, awesome patterned papers and rustic elements consisting of copperish sheriff, rocking horse, rusty sheriff, sheriff badge, rusty star charms, knotted bandana, copper boot charm, copper hat charm, copper horseshoe charm and breeches, brown and red felt boots, denim horseshoe, brown muddy splat and many more. Perhaps, it would be cooler if I dress the little one as a cowboy for a more effective photo shoot.

Wood Dash Kits as Gifts

I don't know if you're with me when I say that husbands are one of the most difficult persons to gift. Not that they aren't appreciative but it's more on the tough job they're giving their wives in thinking or should I say guessing what they want. Just take my husband's example. He rarely say what he really desires for the Holiday and if you are to ask what does he want, he just shrugs and say.."it's up to you".

So the safest thing to do is gift your husbands in accordance to their interest. Like if they are so into cars, check out these wood dash kits from Carid.com. They will surely captivate your husband's fancy especially that there are so many options and designs to choose from for any car make and model at a very reasonable price. Most of them cost only a little over a hundred dollars for a complete kit with 14 pieces or more. So do check out their site and start shopping car accessories for your husband.

Online Shopping Partner In The Making.

It was the other week when a good online friend alerted a laptop sale over at Walmart. She knows about my laptop hunt because my Acerito is now acting up and hinting a replacement. This prompted me and hubby to check out the sale alert and of course, gave our go signal. My Harry is due to arrive next week and I'm more than excited.

The husband was lured to check out further the site and see if the home theater systems that he likes are also on sale. He says, that as early as now, he can't help but get excited to "window shop" for stuffs that we'll be having for our future little mansion. It seems that I'll soon be having a partner on my online shopping frenzy, huh? All I can say is, Great!

Stepping Stone

A former classmate in college will fly to Vegas very soon. She just got accepted to work in one of the hotels there but she said that after her contract expires, she wishes to pursue her CPA career in a Las Vegas accounting firm. After all, being an accountant is her first love and her hotel work will just be a stepping stone hopefully to a greener pasture in that big city.

I think she has seen the site and KondlerCPA is one of her top choices to work for. It is a respected leader in the financial account world that employs the best and most elite certified public accountants. They offer reliable and commendable accounting and financial services to various organizations in different industries. Many satisfied clients testify and rave about how exceptional and truly professional they work.

Sports Mania Kit Collection

Earlier this noon, a lot of boxing fanatics worldwide watched the much-anticipated bout of the year between Manny Pacquiao and the welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. Most cinemas, bars, restaurants and even smaller communities set up a huge viewing place where they can view the live streaming telecast of the match. Some of my friends have taken photos of the viewers while watching in great excitement.

Should you wish to scrap those photos, check out this Sports Mania Kit Collection by Heather Rosselli from Sweet Shoppe Designs. I've been scouring the digiland for a boxing-themed kit but unfortunately, I didn't find one so this kit collection perhaps will do.

Saturday Night Freebie Finds

It's supposed to be a work-free weekend night for me but here I am blogging my heart out and working on multitude of blog opportunities that poured my way this morning. I'm not complaining though because golden chances like these must not be passed up and disregarded. In fact, I can exclaim "keep 'em coming please".

Anyway, it's not really all work tonight. I'm also somehow relaxing myself by hunting for freebies that I can share it with you. Browsing for FREE digikits is actually a nice breather, too.

Anniversary Getaway

Since I can't get over with my previous post about my travel and getaway wish, I'll continue blabbing how I desperately want us to go out of town or even out of the country to celebrate our 4th year wedding anniversary next month. Honestly, we haven't sit down and talked about how we'll celebrate it because we're both busy with our own works. That's exactly the reason why I'm so eager to have an Anniversary Getaway to free ourselves from the hustle and bustle of our busy life. It's about time that we relax, chill and just have fun as we celebrate our four years of wedding bliss.

If Riviera Maya, Mexico is just a stone's throw away from us, I would have taken the initiative to book ourselves and spend a few days in one of the "divinely favored" Karisma Hotels, the El Dorado Seaside Suites. It's an adults only resort that features gourmet inclusive concept, 196 Mexican and contemporary designed Junior Suites with direct access to the beach, swim up jacuzzi suites, beach-beds with retractable white gauze curtains for intimate moments in the oceanfront....just the perfect spot to celebrate an anniversary, right?

No Luck.

I don't know if the travel sale alerts I've been receiving in my email are sort of hints and allusions that we're having a big getaway other than our Baguio trip this Holiday season. That would be great if that's the case. Perhaps, we'll be winning the lottery, or win an all expense paid trip to Hong Kong Disneyland or even a free accommodation at gulf shores condo rentals in a raffle. I love winning..who doesn't? The problem is, I don't have luck winning in raffles and lotteries. I guess I just have to keep on dreaming and dreaming for the mean time.

US Silver Coins as Investment

I just browsed Monex Deposit Company's site and their article about gold investment is just simply interesting. A US-based aunt used to give me old US coins but I didn't pay much attention and was totally uninterested in them. How I wish I have known then that these old coins could actually earn me a fortune. Many financial experts and analysts in the precious metal investment industry believe feel that silver, and specifically US silver coins, exude an outstanding and promising investment opportunity. And this is very true if you turn on the best and the only trusted leader in this industry which is Monex. Check out their rates now and be convinced that they indeed have the best US silver coin prices and programs in the silver coin industry.

Wishing To Scrap

While the digital scrapbooking world is so busy with all the activities prepared by digi sites and online stores for the {inter}National Digital Scrapbooking Day, here I am working on a weekend trying to finish a lot of online writing works that are due a few hours from now. My reader is flooded now with posts related to this event: sale alerts, new kits, freebies, layout shares, etc. The great sale should be a good timing for me to hunt for a themed kit. One of the photo weekly memes I regularly join has a "Baby, You Can Drive My Car" prompt and a car-themed kit or one that has auto accessories would surely be perfect. But on another note, even though I can find that kit, I am uncertain if I can digiscrap due to lack of time. I am also equipped with a slow and unreliable laptop and I have a lousy and unartistic mood so it'll perhaps just be useless.

Take out those photos, those paypal savings and splurge a bit on the tempting sales going around. I'll be back and post sale alerts that have been flooding my reader. For the mean time, enjoy this cute sampler from Natali Design.

Christmas Gifts.

It's the first week of November already and before we know it, it's Christmas time! This count down reminds me that I need to get moving and start shopping gifts for the loved ones. I'm still contemplating whether to get my in laws new pair of eyeglasses that I saw from Zenni Optical's New Arrivals. They have just got a new pair earlier this year but the Holiday Fun Eyeglasses are too cute to ignore. Age is just a number so I'm definite that they can be fashionable still with these themed eyeglasses. Further, the $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses are simply irresistible because it's only now that I encountered such cheaply priced glasses.

I can already picture my MIL wearing this.
