Planning To Buy A Treadmill

I’ve really been wanting to buy me and the husband a life fitness treadmill or any fitness equipment that we can use here at home.  We’re both extremely busy with our daily tasks and it’s the only thing to help keep us achieve our desired body mass.  He has body fats that need to be shed while I, on the other hand, albeit slim, needs still some exercising to beef up my body.  As they say, exercise is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

Boracay ‘08 Photobook

And..yet here’s another long overdue photobook.  But as they say, better late than never right?  I’m just glad that I was able to blog about Asher’s first flight to Boracay so it came handy when I made the pages having our pictures in the airport and inside the plane. Copy-paste was the trick.  Reading it again makes me feel nostalgic and I’m just so glad that we’d be able to experience Boracay again come March.  I can’t wait to have this Photobook delivered so I can browse it each page and relive the memories in each pictures.  Viewing it will not cause me hair loss due to stress but rather, it will de-stress me and make me relax because of the happy memories.

Baguio ‘08 Photobook

Baguio ‘08 is the 2nd of 4 photobooks I managed to finish a few weeks ago.  As I’ve said in my previous post, procrastination and lack of creative mojos were the reasons why the completion took this long.  Anyhow, I’m just glad that it’s all done now and I have something to read (aside from the diet pills that work reviews I got for an obese friend) before we will go up to Baguio again this December.

Asher 1st Birthday Photobook

Here’s the long overdue 1st Birthday Photobook of Asher.  After more than a year, I was finally able to muster some creative mojos and finished the pending photobook that has been sitting so long, saved in my Artscow gallery.  Here are some of my favorite spreads and pages in this 20-paged 12x12 Photobook.  Thankful for Artscow coupon codes because I got this for free.  My earnings from online affiliate programs, on the other hand, funded the shipping fees so basically, I didn’t spend any at all.

 

 

UST’s Quadricentennial Watch..I Want!

A former High School classmate of mine posted this images in his Facebook wall and now I can’t stop thinking about this…the UST Quadricentennial Watches by Swatch.

I’ve spent 8 schooling years at the University of Santo Tomas from High School through College.  It is the oldest existing university not just in the Philippines but in the entire Asia and as the whole Thomasian community celebrates it quadricentennial year (400 years!), I can’t feel prouder and happier for my beloved alma mater.

These commemorative watches are already out and now I’m thinking of requesting the husband to apply for cash advances so we can get the one in pairs (Dominican Duo – Php 11,000).  Oh by the way, the husband’s a Thomasian too and we were High School classmates actually so UST has been instrumental in our love life.

Computers and Fats

Do you know that there are recent studies that link computers as one of the causes why a huge portion the population in the world are fat?  Because of the easy access to computers and internet granted in every homes now, people tend to just sit all day long in front of these gadgets exploring the immense information and whatever online activities that they can deeply indulge to.  The body fats stored are just “sleeping” within instead of being eliminated through exercise or heavy activities.  So perhaps, the internet and computer aren’t that 100% beneficial especially in this aspect, except, when googling the best weight loss pills.  In a nutshell, it’s advisable to once in a while go out, exercise your body by shopping in the mall, pay bills in the bank and order in the resto instead of doing everything online.

Got Big Arms?

I’ve read from a fitness blog that people who have big arms more likely do not exercise.  They do not engage in activities that burn fats on the arms.  And if this continues, the arms will further get bigger, perhaps, as big as Popeye’s. Wishing To Join a Fun Run

Have you noticed that Fun Marathon Runs are the latest thing these days? These events are actually worthwhile because aside from contributing to the cause (like the recent Fun Run held to help in restoration and rehabilitation of the Pasig River), it promotes good health as running can be a very good exercise. Last year, I almost joined Mommy Milkshake Marathon, which is a fun run that supports breastfeeding cause however, I just got too busy and I did not have a nice Adidas shoes suitable for running. Anyway, I know that there will be more fun runs that will be held in the future so I’ll definitely be a part of such good causes someday.

Finally Done!

After almost two years, I was finally able to complete the long overdue Photobooks that have been sitting in my Artscow gallery for ages.  I have been meaning to finish them all but work and procrastination overtake the urge to do this task.  Thanks to an expiring Artscow coupon code for 8 x 8 Photobooks last Friday and scrapbook templates, they really make photobooking a lot easier, I was able to finish not just one or two but four Photobooks…finished all in less than 24 hours!  Take note of the timestamps..it ain’t obvious that I did not do anything last Friday except these photobooks.
