First Batch of Photobooks

image

And they’re here! Not all of them yet though.  But at least the first batch of Photobooks I ordered have arrived and I can’t wait for the rest to get delivered.  I’m so happy to browse and see each page that I’ve worked hard and spent time with in the last few weeks.  The husband and the little one love looking at them, too, and they look forward to seeing the rest of the photobooks I made.  Photobooks are indeed a great way of preserving memories.  As we grow old, we can always go back and cherish the special moments in our lives just by viewing these books.  They’ll surely make a great companion during our senile years just like the best term life for those over 50 insurance.  The printing quality is great that’s why I’m confident that they’ll last for a long time. :)

Photobooks To-Do’s

Now that the Photobooks I ordered from Artscow have started to arrive, I’m all the more psyched and pumped up to make more!  Here’s the remaining in my To-Do List and hopefully, I get to finish them before the little princess arrives in 2 months.

1.) Asher’s 2nd Birthday

2.) Asher’s 3rd Birthday

3.) Second Pregnancy

4.) Quick Meals: Mai’s Recipe Book Volume 2

I’m intending to do the layouts of the Second Pregnancy Photobook on my own meaning I won’t use Artscow’s templates.  That means, it’ll take me a longer time to finish that but just like my first pregnancy, I feel the need to exert more effort as this experience is truly special and it would be lovelier if it’s fully personalized. KWIM.

With that, I really have to start organizing my kits soon in my external hard disk so I can commence.  Lots of scrapping ideas and prompts are filling my head.  I just need the spare time and perhaps some more pregnancy kits.  I hope to find cheap deals for such as I don’t want to overspend and my wallet might complain when it sees the total amount displayed on the virtual POS systems or online checkout carts of my fave digiscrapping stores.

Bruises ‘N Breaks & Bumps and Blahs Kits

I can still recall when my son experienced his first booboo.  My heart ached as I saw him crying in pain and got so scared at the sight of the blood on his knee.  I applied first aid and comforted him that everything will be alright.  Eventually, my hugs and kisses consoled him as he stared on the band aid that covered his tiny booboo.

I think I got a picture of that memorable moment.  I should scrap it and the perfect kit and elements to use are these ones from The Lilypad.

The elements of band-aid and medicines will certainly make the layout standout!

Speaking of medicines, I didn’t know that medicines can be so dangerous and even fatal.  And I thought, they’re supposed to save lives and get people’s health better.  In the case of Actos which is an oral diabetes drug, it can cause heart attacks and heart failures.  If you know of someone who have experienced that, make them aware that they can file an Actos lawsuit and demand damages from the manufacturer.

Quick Meals Photobook: Mai’s Recipe Book

I was on a Photobook-making roll in the last couple of weeks and I’m satisfied that I have somehow coped up with the backlogs of albums that I need to make for the longest time.  I still have a number of albums left in my to do list but I slowed down a bit because I have exhausted already all 8x8 photobook credits that Artscow gave as a promo recently.  I have tons of referral credits for redemption but I don’t want to touch that as I’m saving it up for another project.

Here’s the most recent Photobook I finished yesterday.  It’s a compilation of my tested and favorite recipes of all time.  I’m not really a good cook or a kitchen person ever since.  But when ever I’m in the mood to cook or upon the husband’s special request, I try to exercise the little cooking skills that I’ve got with the help of recipe books and magazines.  I decided to compile them into one book for easier reference.  Most of the photos I’ve included are personal shots of mine or the husband’s.

The husband has seen the finished layouts and he’s impressed!  He said that I should have put pictures of myself in a cook outfit posing by the Jetboil stoves in our kitchen.  Great idea, huh?  I’ll probably infuse that in my Recipe Book Volume II.
